  1. I agree and that was my thought. But just in case something has changed I thought having the TA verify this was wise just in case I was wrong. I do know that say you have 99 cruises and you book another one making it 100. You can't use that one until you actually achieve 100 so if you wanted to use it you would have to wait till you hit 100 and then use it for something that you make payment for after that one. So logic told me this wouldn't work on those segments but..............better to have TA verify. Keith
  2. Each segment is counted as a cruise or cruises (length is a factor) towards your milestone. Have your TA followup on the second question. Keith
  3. This has changed a bit due to the sheer volume of suites. Each day they bring each suite an assortment of canapés and they change each day. To keep things simple, everyone gets the same set. Those in the Junior CP and CP can get this and/or canapés including the pigs in blankets. Keith
  4. Not sure what the 3 digits are for. I would have your TA check with Crystal. As to assignments, it can happen anytime from now till the day you board the ship but often before you board. Keith
  5. Seems close enough to walk to and from the ship. Keith

The goal is 30 days before the cruise. Initially it was a week or two. More recently 30 days. Just like making reservations. Initially 30 days and now 60 days. Keith
  7. They are working on it for sure. I know it seems like it would be a piece of cake to fix this one but it isn't. Please remember. All of these systems were built from the ground floor. NC didn't inherit any systems. It is on my followup list. 😄 Keith
  8. Unfortunately you won't see them. They use the area for the New Years Eve Celebration which is one of the reasons they take them down. Once down and back in Miami they'll take them off the ship to be stored. Your cruise will be here before you know it. Keith
  9. Ivi, when you say keep do you mean when do they come down? They start taking them down after Christmas so they can be all down for New Year Eve celebration. If you are asking how long do they keep the decorations for use each year they have had them for many years although I do remember a boat load of new ones added around 2011. Keith
  10. You got that write (just kidding) Rob. Right. 😄 Keith
  11. I am not in this situation but in my case my wife has issues that preclude us from taking advantage of all venues unless there were significant design changes. We just focus on the venues that we can enjoy. Like I said JMO. Yes if they could have a do over I suspect the Avenue Saloon on Serenity would have been designed similar to Symphony. With that said, personally, I don't want Crystal to spend a lot of money on the existing ships as I would like to see the emphasis on the new ships. I believe the next dry docks of each ship will be mainly technical with some interior work. When the new ships become reality just like building a new home and with all of the great planing that goes into them there will be issues. I also feel when it comes to decor what one person likes another doesn't. Keith
  12. I always like to share paths and side walks and this one resonates with me from Wellington (no not Beef Wellington Ken Z). Just Wellington the city. Keith
  13. Agreed. We've had at least two threads on this subject. And before anyone says why note have a third (we can and even more) but there is a lot of good information already posted as Crickette noted. And it is Crystal Clear that the vast majority of guests prefer a promenade deck but in the end Crystal will decide. With that said, they did ask what people think on that because at the time they were working through the design of the new vessel. Keith
  14. My view is simple. If you liked Crystal before NC is like OC but even better. Keith
  15. As I read about the columns I keep telling myself the glass is half full. There is so much good about Serenity and about Symphony. Don't sweat the little things. Live is good if you can sail with Crystal. JMO. Keith
  16. Bill, Fantastic News. Love the Cobb Salad too. Enjoy every minute. Keith
  17. You are very welcome. This is a photo I took while on board Serenity in August of this year. Keith
  18. Some of their salaries just can't be per month. Take a look at cruise director as one example. The actual form that these folks use to submit says amount per their contract. Very confusing. Just saying. Keith
  19. I looked at the data and honestly have not clue what it represents. Some of the data makes no sense to be monthly or by contract while other data could be categorized that way. Where they ask for a submission it doesn't even note what it is based on. But an interesting read. Keith
  20. Always have Crystal on my mind whether on a Crystal vessel or at home. Keith
  21. There are things I like about each ship. I have sailed a lot more on Serenity and that is because they offered the World Cruises the years we sailed. When people ask me which ship I like better my answer is simply the one we are on. We love each one for similar and also for different reasons. The glue which makes them equal is the crew and so many of the things in common including cuisine and drink, service, enrichment, and entertainment. Keith
  22. One final one for Asuka II until next time we see her in port. Keith
  23. In general these are the answers. Have your TA verify them when you are ready to book. Keith 25% deposit Final Payment due 120 days prior to cruise. You can book reservations for shore excursions and specialty restaurants 60 days prior to the cruise at the present time for most cruises. E Tickets available on line approximately 30 days prior to the cruise. Luggage tags (not being provided at the present time until new ones available). Early voyages those were arriving to ones home between one to two weeks prior to embarkation but you can fill them out at the pier. NC does recognize the cruises taken with OC and that is counted towards your next Crystal Society Milestone. Keith
  24. I am not sure what Crystal will do for the World Cruise where they would have a Yoga Instructor(s) and a Pilates Instructors using the reformers. For the majority of the other cruises old Crystal didn't have special instructors although on occasion they would. The Fitness Director will teach the same type of courses they used to teach such as pilates using a mat, stretching, cardio classes, classes, with weights, indoor cycling, etc. With lower occupancy counts they were going with one instructor but I suspect they will have two sometime soon at least on Serenity with number ramping up.
