We were in a FH cabin back in 2020 right before covid hit. The cabin had 2 bathrooms which is nice when the kids are traveling with you. Don't recall any issues with noise.
I don't think your daughter will make any friends in the lounge as the parents watch their kids like a hawk. My kids joined the kids clubs and that's where they met new friends. Literally every day they would get together and do things.
The lounge had almost the identical food as the buffet, but for some reason, bacon was never at breakfast. We had to go to the Lido buffet to get my daughter bacon. Oh and you get free coffee and cappuccino in the lounge. Not the best, but it's free.
Enjoy your cruise 🙂
I wasn't impressed with Jiji's lunch as everything was premade. So, we never tried the dinner. But, a lot of people have highly recommended it, so maybe next cruise we'll give Jiji's dinner a try.
We have 2 cruises on Royal and a land vacation to the Bahamas next year.
Sadly, next year will be the first time in over 20 years we're not doing at least 1 Carnival cruise.
We used to get suites, but now that the kids are older, they want their own room. So, wifey and I will get a balcony and the kids will have an interior across the hall.
We enjoyed the larger room with a suite and I miss it now.
We've gotten quite a number of free cabins and DOU in the casino over the last few years. Of all the offers we've gotten, I believe only 2 of them included DOU everywhere. But, those 2 offers were at times where we couldn't cruise. Carnival knows our cruise schedule and those offers were to try to lure us into cruising when we normally wouldn't.
Of course, this is just a working theory. Who knows how Carnival sends out offers...
There's a few miserable people who always say google it or look it up on the website. I don't know why they need to come into a thread to say that. Is it so hard to just skip a question you feel the need to post google it?
I've answered a few questions a thousand times and I can answer the same question a thousand more times. Been doing this for over25 years.
When we were on the Radiance, I remember getting only one type of bread for dinner in the MDR. It used to be you can select from a variety of breads, now, there's only one choice per night. I didn't like the cranberry bread or that brown bread, whatever that is. I was partial to the sourdough and that pizza bread, though.
We had a suite and when we checked in, the person helping us told us that our suite was ready and we can go directly to the suite. My BIL who came with us had the suite next to us and he was also told that the suite was ready.
I was always told that before a cruise, suites were done first, then balconies and so on...
I was on the Panorama in August and it had a midnight buffet. Hotdogs, chicken tenders and 2 kinds of pizza. Amazing food when you're drunk. 😅
Is the midnight buffet not fleetwide?
My last Panorama cruise, the ducks has a name tag with instructions to take a pic and post on a website. Way too much work to do while I'm on vacation...
