As a person who quit 30+ years ago I have to say that in retrospect it was a pretty vile habit. Everything smelled like smoke. Really glad I quit. You just have to have the mindset to change. So much profound evidence that it will be harmful and now the cost. It’s over $8 a pack now.
With regard to smoking on ships…I really wish it was banned from all area inside the ship. On the Rotterdam smoke from the casino drifts down the stairs into the music venue. This makes the area unusable for lots of passengers by subjecting them to secondhand smoke.
I’ve just never seen a case, and I’m sure someone will cite one, where HAL has left boarding passengers on the pier when the lines air and transfers were used. Don’t borrow trouble. Use your worrying for important things like “did I pack my toothpaste?”
Really don’t think they are going to move a top paying guest. I suggest spending your time worrying about something that really matters, like the weather.
OBC is just that. It can’t be used until you are on the ship. To my knowledge there is no limit to the number of passes sold on any voyage, but hey…I could be wrong.
Sparkling wine better described as effervescent drain opener. Exchange it for a bottle of drinkable wine ASAP with the lounge concierge. I think that if enough people would do this maybe, just maybe, management might notice and up the initial offering.
