  1. I am prepping to do my third ArriveCan submission prior to our C/NE cruise out of Brooklyn this Saturday. In the past, one could only do a "trip" on either a PC or on a phone, but if a trip was started on one platform, it could not be accessed on the other. Is that still the case, or could I start it on a PC at home, then access it and finish it on my Android phone while in the US? TIA.
  2. I believe these are both Celebrity ships, so you would be leaving one X ship and immediately boarding another? Some cruise lines have shuttles at PE for just such an eventuality, maybe check to see if X does also.
  3. Each trip is considered as a separate entity/event. If you did the first one properly, and it kept all your personal info and vax docs, then the second one would just involve entering the new info specific to your new travel, such as port info, dates, health status update etc. Having all the personal data stored in the "system" usually speeds up the all subsequent applications. I've done them three times and have another trip next week on the Enchanted.
  4. Fair enough. It WAS a while ago when we were on the Sky, I must have been thinking of the older ships like Regal etc.
  5. Princess is responsible for making sure all your docs are in order before letting you on the ship. For that itinerary, you will have to show passprt etc, VAX status, COVID test result within the last 2 days or 72 hours depending on type, and your ArriveCan receipt, all at the time of embarkation.
  6. My interview/trip across the border, was on a Tuesday and I started to get the phone calls on the following Saturday. I just ignored the calls the first few times they came (they called a few times a day), but when I finally played back the entire message, the tone of the message left me in no doubt I'd better deal with it quickly. I called the gvt COVID line and was told that the call "probably" meant that I had been selected for the test, but she couldn't be sure. Even though I had driven across the border, I immediately went to Montreal airport, explained the call to the testing staff and they agreed to test me for free and to submit the results to the same gvt location where they send all the other random victim's test results. That was in mid-July and haven't heard ANYTHING more on this at all. Which probably means I'll get pulled aside and fined next week when we drive back after our Canada/New England trip out of Brooklyn. 😁
  7. Keep in mid that there are two different "types" of Cabanas on the Sky. The cheaper ones are just outside the Sanctuary in the Retreat pool area, and the expensive ones are inside the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary cabanas are full service, with sofas, loungers, a TV and fridge etc. Back last November we had one booked on the Sky for one day but cancelled due to weather. IIRC the daily charge was $200 total, while the cost for a full day for two loungers was $80 ($40/pp) I suppose if you have more than 2 people, the cabana could be a good deal.
  8. I had to go to upstate New York for my NEXUS interview a few months ago, and was out of Canada for 30 MINUTES, still had to do ArriveCan. Not only that, I was secretly selected for a post-arrival random COVID test and was not told I was selected until I started to receive menacing phone calls from the gvt demanding the status of my quarantine and testing results. So, yes, it needs to go ASAP ;o)

  10. You might want to check out Tom's Port Guides. I've always had good luck with his offerings and I find he does quite a good job, VERY detailed and comprehensive. He has at least some of the ones you need: https://www.tomsportguides.com/
  11. If you're flying from Pearson direct to EWR, you would be going through US Customs before departure, not after arrival in Newark. Not sure why you'd want to pre-book a taxi at EWR, there should be a ton of them sitting waiting for you at the nearest taxi stand on the Arrivals level.
  12. We're looking into possibly using FBC for flights to and from FLL next May to get us to the Equinox. Our usual flights are way overpriced using frequent flyer points which is how we usually fly, and the Celebrity website is showing some amazingly (and worryingly) low cash prices for the itineraries we are looking at. Problem is, when I try book the flights on the X site, the "Select" button is grayed out. We are 325 days out, which I realize is early, though the desired flights do show up, even showing a steep discount off the "regular" price, but is it still too far out to book? If so, approximately when would they open up for actual booking? Or does the booking have to be done by X or our TA? Thanks in advance...
