Very true. The experience & images of my Mom and Dad in their final days and minutes are in my brain, but that’s not how I remember them & think of them. Those difficult times rarely come to my mind, only the good times and like you Bonnie I think of them every single day. And still miss them. (20+ years for Mom, 2 1/2 for Dad)

I’m sorry you’re experiencing such pain but thankfully nothing’s broken! It will be wonderful if you can join us Dani. Have you checked hotel prices? I feel they bump them up a day or so before cruises depart. Mid-week and maybe a bit away from the port might find more reasonable rates.

Wow is right Bob! Great pictures and video of your tour. Wish I had the nerves to do something like this. Andy would do it in a heartbeat so who knows, maybe he (and a Xanax) can convince me.

So sorry to read about all you’ve been dealing with. I hope the assistance of the hospice team is giving you the support you need, they are truly amazing people. I also hope you’ll continue to join in here for a bit of distraction, entertainment and encouragement.

Oh, I know and I’m still happily following along on your report even if I’m not commenting much. I just meant by the time Greg’s ship sails you’ll be (sadly) heading home.

I’m looking forward to another great SeaDog review. This is perfect timing too since Andrew’s and Crystal’s ended and Bob’s will be winding down. I’ve never done one before but thinking about dipping my toe in the water for our Voyager cruise.

Really busy weekend here but the weather has been absolutely gorgeous. Our oldest DD is up from PA by herself. She has work meetings in RI all week, her employer’s corporate office is here. All three DD’s ran a half marathon this morning in Newport. As we were crossing the Newport Bridge on our way to cheer them on near the finish line, I spotted this in Newport Harbor. I think it’s Princess ship? Also a picture of my girls (and youngest GDD). And here’s one for @Ocean Boy, the little lighthouse off the Jamestown Bridge.

Happy Birthday to this young man! He has the sweetest smile.
