  1. You are the one who hit "submit reply". Let's just say you are wrong.
  2. I have knee problems. And sometimes my knee just doesn't want to work. It sucks falling down the stairs. No more stairs for me. I rarely use a cane because I always leave it somewhere on a cruise.
  3. No it doesn't. Like my fart doesn't protect your nose.
  4. Correct. On the ship now. Very few crew members wearing them. Probably more passengers are wearing them.
  5. Cruising Solstice tomorrow. On one travel website I counted over 180 balconies still available. Didn't bother to look at oceanview or inside. I only look to upgrade. Who cares how many people are on the ship. Never was a concern before COVID. Not a concern now. More concerned about the weather. Hope OP gets in info they need to enjoy their cruise.
  6. If you book through a TA, you talk to the TA and the TA talks to NCL. Book with NCL you talk directly with NCL.
  7. All changes go through the travel agency you book through. Even if you booked with NCL and without talking with anyone. And you should be able to talk to any representative with that agency as long as you have a booking number.
  8. NCL set standard with anytime dining and has traditional dining. Looks like most other cruise lines have adopted to anytime dining too. What differences have you heard?
  9. What type of activities did you enjoy RCI that seem to be missing during your research? Give some examples.
  10. I spent four years in Austin and have taken the Mexican Riviera itinerary over 10 times. We know the difference between warm and hot. Apparently, those in the northwest have a different interpretation when it comes to humidity.
  11. Some people just do not understand. I do not believe that you go looking for stuff. Let's just say SHIP HAPPENS. And you care enough to let us know on CC. Most loyal people do not care about visible wear and tear and accept it. But for a Five Star company with standards, problems get overlooked because of tunnel vision. If the ship is scheduled to go into dry dock, then this thread should help. Only a few days left. Have fun and stay cool.😀
  12. Buyer beware. A cruise subject to all defects. Good luck to all cruising the Caribbean.
  13. I must have missed the thread stating the OP was not enjoying their cruise. All I have read from the OP was observations. And the cruises out of Florida should they all expect hurricanes? Silly people, they should have known.
  14. Because NCL can. You must have missed the round table discussion.
  15. NO. And if you are lucky, may people will do the work for you. Just be patient.
  16. I cruise on the Solstice on Saturday. Counted over 200 balcony vacancies. Took me 10 minutes to count that many. I'm exhausted. Good thing I'm taking a cruise.
  17. Booked the Solstice a month ago for my cruise starting Saturday. Solo cruiser. I have been monitoring the prices ever since. I glad I booked when I did. Booked a Oceanview with perks. Upgraded to a balcony the next week keeping my perks for $300. Prices have double without the perks if you wanted 1 to 2 weeks out. But this is just me. Solstice has some good values now for the Mexican Rivera. Just got to be lucky when you pull the trigger. Good luck with shopping.😃
  18. I have cruised on many cruise ships that have had A/C issues. I'm off next week on the Solstice in a balcony so I will bring a fan. Maybe an extra outlet adaptor. And watch my step to the bathroom. And already made arrangements for an extension cord and distilled water for my CPAP. OP I welcome your observations as I learn more with honesty instead of loyality.
