  1. Beverage package goes up to $138 a day in January. Not including tips. Way to go NCL.
  2. It is all about patience. Make early reservations to shows as they do fill up quickly.
  3. Maybe the same way you handled the occupancy capacity before covid. Always waiting in line for something.
  4. So the question has been answered. No need for anymore guesses. Hope the OP has a fun cruise.
  5. So, the answer to the original post is NO. It is all a guessing game. And what is the prize if you guess right? And how disappointed should you be if you guess wrong? Cannot wait until next month when someone else ask the same question, but in a different way.
  6. There is no way to find out. And I still do not understand why a ships occupancy is now a major concern ever since cruising has restarted. Seems to be a topic every other week. I have never booked a cruise considering a ships occupancy percentage. I always prepare for a full ship with long lines and rude cruisers. And will still have a fantastic time. Off to Mexico next week on Celebrity.
  7. All the children dress up and go cabin to cabin to get the pillow chocolates.😁
  8. And you took the time to type your concerns giving us something to ponder. Waawaawaa
  9. Yes a simple question. But one that has been asked every month and many times since the restart last September. There is no answer.
  10. What did your booking agent say if you test positive before the first cruise? I would expect the same to apply for the second cruise. I would guess that if you test positive you do not make the second cruise. You receive a FCC.
  11. You seemed to be ok but yet are complaining. What research did you do that would have allowed you to land and transfer the day of the cruise. Where did you think you were going to spend the night the day before the cruise? Or take the red-eye flight. Did your package include air and hotel? Like most people here I think you got lucky. Now research fork up enough for a nice hotel and have a great time.
  12. Cruising at 50% capacity was nice so why do people think this is the new norm. Cruise ships need to make money again and how can they at 60 to 75%. And when covid restrictions ends expect full ships with lots of children.
  13. And what happens if you do not get your preference? How do you book a less crowed ship to get the elbow room you prefer if you book over a year out? Do you monitor the cruise cancel and rebook another to get the preference you want? Or do you just live with it and hopefully do not bump into anyone? Even small ships get crowed. And cruising is all about waiting in lines and hopefully you have someone to help you save your place.
  14. Occupancy. Why is this important? Never seem to be a topic before covid. The real topic should be how fully staffed the ship is and how many crew members are not working because of covid.
  15. So the term for manager is officer? And why not call the general manager "Chief of staff". When you stay in a regular hotel do you request a meeting with their officers. How about the restaurants? Unless one of them gives me a freebie I am just another regular cruise passenger (nobody special). Who really cares. They are all just customer service representatives with experience. Just show me my cabin, point me to the food and belly up to the bar.
  16. And TIPS. What are they now? $16 a person. Lets see 16x6x7=$762 And the drink package. Do you have to make a reservation for the bathroom? Sounds like a fun time to me.
  17. why not skip the cruise and go to the fight. there is always another cruise but only a one time fight.
