We live in Titusville. We get to watch the SpaceX launches many times twice a week lately. Each launch carries up to 21 satellites. If Elon has lost 40 of them after this many years of launching them up there....that's not even a dent in the network.

Cancelling the home port for Wonder in Asia (which was built for the Asian market) is just one thing. But we are happy to have her here in Port Canaveral now. 🙂

Sailed away from Barbados on her just a couple of months ago. B2B2B out of PR. Great trip! 🙂

Yikes...weird weather everywhere. Sad about the tornadoes midwest too. We are total opposite of you. Have not have any rain in weeks...we are dry and HOT!! 🤒 Sending you warm wishes for snow melt. 😉

Yeah, I think she suddenly had $$ in her eyes when she saw the groups. The little fish were put aside for those big fish...then she found the small ones can bite...but politely of course. 😉

Dave, usually that is the case for us as well. This last time, walking up to the taxi stand, lady gave us a slip with the price, and told us to wait just a bit while she signaled a taxi to front of the line. Suddenly here comes porters with gobs of luggage on carts and tour people, shoving their way past us as she scurried to get them all on various vans. One group complained loudly that they were going to charge per person. After 20 minutes of that, I finally walked up to her and said "remember us"? Oh..yeah, then she finally calls a single car taxi. Sheez... Otherwise yeah...simple taxi to ship (or in our case..hotel) best way.

Sweet! We were supposed to be on Radiance, when RCI cancelled our Aussie adventure (again!) when they decided to send her to NO. Booked again, but this time with Viking. 24/25 season and staying on in Australia wine country for a month after the cruise. Would prefer to the TP back to the states...but...eh...this will work also. 😉

We that do laundry on the ship (and I am one of them)....will do the combo of hand washing, "boil & fry" (AKA wash and fold), and on rare occasion, send out dry cleaning. A 10 night or less cruise for us is "a short cruise"....and indeed don't need to do laundry on those either. Our cruises are B2Bs and longer. Some weeks at a time, some months at a time even. Yes, doing laundry is a necessity for us.

I have used the dry cleaning and the "boil and fry". The hand washables I do myself (gives me something to do on a sea day 😉 ).

LOL...love it! I call it "boil and fry" but like your word for it as well....cook and mangle. 😄 😄 I bring a pack of my own plastic hangers...sometimes you get stuck with those pointed head/no hook hangers...ugh. Magnet hooks on the ceiling matches up with my hangers.

On anything over 14 days, I send out "boil and fry" with cotton undies, socks, t-shirts, exercise clothes once a week. Sea day will do my "hand wash"....and if rarely needed....dress shirts and dress pants to dry clean.

So then sleeping in sheets and washing/drying with towels others have used is OK though? 😉 😄

On the very rare times I would have to change cabins, I still put a hand written tag with new cabin number on the bags I will leave for the cabin attendant to move. I use those plastic sleeve tag holders. Very easy to slip that note into them.

Wash and fold: AKA "boil and fry". Don't send anything out you can't bear to part with. 😉

Yup....exactly. And the B2B crowd, are already unpacked...unless they have to change cabins. Ugh...I avoid that situation...won't book unless I can keep same cabin. 😉
