  1. Yes, I believe there was a comedian on the last night in the theater...but we did not go. Actually just the ice show we have been to. Will try to do more shows this week. Food for us in the MDR (first traditional seating) has been decent, though many are complaining about the intro of the new menu that came out last week. I am finding interesting new dishes to try, and especially enjoying the nightly Indian food choices, plus a few Vegan dishes...though the separate Vegan menu with a lot more choices (on the app) is no longer available. Every night is "theme" night now. We eat in Chops for breakfast every day, and it has been basically quite good. Food better than the service sometime. Lunch has been out and about, since we are very port heavy on these PR cruises.
  2. Currently finishing leg #1 on our B2B2B on Voyager. Have not really gone to a lot of the entertainment, the shows are not what you find on the really large ships, but the ice show IMHO was good. And yes, no reservations needed. But do arrive early. The first ice show of last week was way overcrowded, many pax standing in the back and stairway, we gave up and left. 2nd show of the week, lots of seat available even at starting time. We had second row seats in front section. Nice!
  3. Don't let the captain hear you calling his ship a "boat". 😉 Enjoy your first B2B...we pretty much do all our cruises as B2Bs...and more. Currently on TAD right now on Voyager. Two more "go rounds" yet left to go.
  4. Not always the case. On Wonder they were policing that quite well. They could tell when they ran your card if you were simply JS pax. The bartender would politely inform that guest (which must have come in for dinner, but are supposed to be allowed in the SL section), that they would have to put that drink on their voucher, assuming of course they were even at Diamond level to get vouchers.
  5. Never had a problem with robes being in the cabin when we check in. But then again, we sail in JS and above.
  6. I really think it started with Platinum...err...not sure. But definitely don't remember it as Pinnies only.
  7. Exactly my point. If we are in a full suite (always on ships that have a CK)....are they charging our vouchers...or are they charged as suites drinks? Luckily I never have to worry about it (though I think the suite's concierge is taking advantage with charging those drinks off to C&A)....since we never go over our six per person vouchers. Any more than that...I need to start checking into my local AA chapter. 😄
  8. Though...Pinnies in a full suite....where do we draw the line. 😉
  9. Vouchers...but the gray line comes when you are a Pinnie in a full suite. 😉
  10. I can tell...and from your latest hilarious avatar picture....I think there is a skunk inside your shelter. 😄
  11. Robes for JS and above, and higher tier C&A. (not sure what level it starts...been too long). 99% of the time, the robes are already waiting for us in the cabin when we check in.
  12. Just talked to the LA on board. We are "scheduled" for 45 Pinnies next week. Which still puts us under the threshold of 50 on Voyager. Once again able to enjoy the SL coffee machine for my early morning Lattes next week. 🙂 And no CK on this ship, hence our choice is our usual JS cabin. Though we did get approval of keeping our same great table location in the MDR again for next week. 🙂
  13. And I will find out tonight if we are under or over the mysterious allocation for next week.
  14. No...silly ...it's the limbo cane you have limbo under. Or over, depending on how tall you are. 😄 Threshold "AKA maximum amount" of Pinnacles on each ship (determined by who knows who LA or HD I guess) that they will allow into the SL or CL....before the suites people start to get pissy. Funny thing is we are under the threshold for Voyager (max of 50) at 46, but none of us are going into the SL for happy hour. We are all hanging out in the VCL lounge (which is really pretty on this ship). The SL is a ghost town each night. Feel sorry for the concierge in there (who is a very nice lady).
  15. Yeah, she told me they made the exception due to the holiday. The Pinnacle "event" was a total joke until they got their act together the following week.
  16. Indeed it does. Threshold 30 on both recent Jewel and Serenade. Threshold 50 on current Voyager.
  17. D+ recently kicked out permanently for CLs on ships that still have them. They have never had access into SL. Unless in full suite. Hit and miss (according to total numbers) on Pinnacles if allowed in either CL or SL.
  18. I got it while currently on Voyager. Saw it after I went to bed....probably good idea I did not show up in my robe down on deck four. 😄 😄
  19. But much nicer. Though you will experience the mob of pax coming out of the WJ at that location. It's the main exit.
  20. Threshold here on Voyager is 50. We are at 46 right now, probably kicked out next week. 😞 But I don't use it anyway, except for coffee. Have not tried to get coffee in the DL yet, but with only one machine in there and a lot of Ds, and D+....probably a zoo as usual.
  21. Which was very nice, since that was one of the very rare times we did a JS on a ship with a CK. 🙂 Actually love the fact that the SL is separate from CK on that ship.
  22. I just take what they give me...as long as they are intact. 😉
  23. Nice. 🙂 I am looking forward to my 1400 certificate as well. Already used our 1050 on balcony cabin on Wonder for next year. Not going to try to upgrade. That will be our "cruising on the cheap" cruise. 😄
  24. As you know, when we cruised with you two, we were also in a JS. But with the ship not that full, the CK host was more than happy to book dinners in there for us, though we were not full suite. I will be curious to find out how it goes for you this time, as I know you were in full suite the last time. OK...so now who is going to fix the coffee machine in the SL when Laura does not have access? 😄
