  1. Yes. The Tagliatelle is supposed to have sun dried tomatoes on it....and once again came with strips of pepper only (which I detest). The peppers over powered the whole thing. Was OK for Bucky, who loves peppers...not for me. I don't mind the cream based sauce, but still could not taste it past the peppers.
  2. And verified by one who knows....thanks. 😉
  3. Both. I was able to chat with crew member changing out the machine one day.
  4. LOL...you crack me up with your ever changing Avatar pictures. 😄 And yes, please refrain from the "pot water". 😛
  5. Enjoy! Bucky is a "sun lizard" and loves that big open balcony. I love the extra light it sends into the cabin, and it's wonderful for seeing both sides of the ship....and "where you have been". 😉
  6. You can always call to change your cabin, no charge as long as same category.
  7. I don't know of any RCI ships that have aft elevators. Forward and mid ship only.
  8. The WJ has a coffee station just outside the main restaurant, and quite busy in the morning before the WJ opens.
  9. Noooooo definitely not a public stairwell. Crew members only. Though not really a lot of them use it. it. It's for emergencies only. We got yelled at one time when we stuck our heads in there. 😮
  10. Shhhhhh....it's our secret. 😄 Disclaimer: Long walk back there..... but oh so worth it. 😉
  11. I really need to get back there again....was always a treat to visit. 🙂
  12. Yes, a very long walk to the elevators/stair wells. Does not bother us...those desserts do work on you on a cruise....so it helps. 😉 And keeps the foot traffic way back there to a minimum. The aft stairwell is for crew members only....and for pax to use only under an emergency.
  13. LOL....Yeah, now that would be a strange request. 😉 And the same water as in your toilet....errr....before use. 😄
  14. Ahh...thanks! We board on the 29th....so I am wondering if they might come out next week, with the time line going into February. But no matter....we like both the old and new menus. 🙂
  15. I fill one single paper cup from the machine and take it with me to fill my bottle in the cabin, usually after a walk on the deck. Or will grab one of those plastic cups the attendant sets out in the WJ. No hogging here.
  16. LOL...should have had you smell ours in our sink. 😄
  17. Thanks and makes sense.....but I will still stick to the secondary filtered water at the machine after getting too grossed out...too many times. 😛 DH will fill from water from the sink sometime, then has it sit out on the counter all the time. I picked up his water bottle by mistake last week one night...phew. Could still smell the chlorine in it. Happy I did not check the color. 😉
  18. Ahhh...yes, you are right. It's been years....sorry. And I just checked, it's closed. We spent some very enjoyable time at both Victoria and Vancouver some years ago. 😞
  19. Always a favorite. Just completed B2B on twin sister Serenade last month. This was another twin sister Radiance in Alaska viewing Hubbard Glacier. 🙂
  20. This will probably get moved to ports of call section, if it has not already 😉 .....but there is a beautiful gardens area in Vancouver called Butchart Gardens. Well worth touring 🙂
  21. I fill a paper cup with water from the WJ beverage station (which has a secondary filter system on it) and then into my bottle. Water from the tap....um no. Used to do that until I realized how heavily chlorinated that is and the sink does not have a secondary filter on it. Last week on Jewel, I turned on the tap in the cabin bathroom which gurgled, spat and produced a stinky brown colored water into the sink. Fill the sink with water sometime...check the color and the smell. Uggh....no thanks.
