Or you can book a refundable deposit. Many of the accessible cabins are also in categories that are offered in group space and can be booked directly inside of a group with a refundable deposit
Better yet find a TA that has group rates. You will pay less for a refundable group rate than what Royal is charging for their nrd rates. Balconies and below. Double occupancy.
There is no website that I have seen that will show accessible cabins, you just havevto check each individual sailing.
As for TA's holding cabins that is incorrect for at least Royal and Celebrity. TA's only hold space and not actual rooms. Actual staterooms do not get held unless there are names and a full deposit.
Interesting. I know that last year they were talking about a way to allow you do get a lower price without having to cancel, and then repurchase and wait for a refund. Perhaps this is a workaround
Royal is now accepting home tests. A picture of your positive test with your ID in the same picture will get you a full refund if you or anyone in your travelling party tests positive. This is for sailings through April 30, 2023
At 340 points and above solo travelers are eligible for a 150% supplement as opposed to the standard 200% supplement. Saves you 25% on your cruise fare. Does not apply to July, August or Holiday sailings
Not really. There are different sizes of balcony cabins both cabin size and balcony size, different locations and different occupancy levels... nearly every cruise line is the same
I say category because I refer to anything thst is different as a different category even though technically it is a different subcategory. There can be 9 or more balcony subcategories all with different prices.
At least you were able to figure it out. Royals website makes it easy to compare the wrong cabins which can lead to frustration like you experienced because you are not comparing apples to apples. I also feel sorry for the reps who have to do their best to tell people that they are looking at a different category, in your case the rep should gave realized you were looking at a different category and pointed that out.
