  1. I dont understand it either. I used to work for a company that did not like thr cruise lines invoice going out...I ignored it. One thing that does come to mind is some TA's set their own final paymemt date, while Royals invoice lists the absolute last date, many do not like clients knowing they are collecting final paymrmt 2 to 4 weeks early.
  2. You could call and ask if they could give you yourv2 rooms back and reinstate the $500. Thst is the only way thst might work. Has nothing to do with only one guest cancelling. Technically you cancelled a room and that had 2 people in it so you lose the $500.
  3. Hack to avoid carrying around that cup. Smash cup. Remove rfid chip from bottom. Scotch type rfid to Seapass card. Hold seapass card under any glass to activate machine. Take drink and sit at table close by watching others try unsuccessfully to use a regular cup to get soda.
  4. Hit or miss whether you get an e mail reminder. Call them and ask the process for paying by cheque. Yes if you miss the deadline your cruise will be cancelled.
  5. Had you kept both rooms you would not have lost a thing. If you booked after June 1 2022 then yes if you cancel a room you lose your entire deposit. They come to cancel yje room with 2 guests and movevtje other room which can be fine. Had they cancrlled the room with 3 guests then you would have lost $750.
  6. You can look in the app for the current sailing and see everything you are looking for.
  7. That's on every copy of Royals invoice. Blame your TA for not providing it. Perhaps your TA is also charging a cancellation penalty...some do.
  8. I have no idea how they determine who the folio goes to. All I can say is when I enter in the guests whomever I enter as guest one will show as guest one on the invoice.
  9. They get both. Nothing to hide. Full transparency is always the best way to conduct business.
  10. The only post like that I can recall from a few years ago were from the UK when one of their major travel agents went out of business and left many in the lurch. Must have been quite a while ago f it was referring to the US
  11. You did, many people don't. many who book through a TA don't even know that they could get a copy of Royals invoice.
  12. That is your TA that is sending your Royals invoice. Royal does not send it directly to guests who book through a TA.
  13. TA's must use the clients card for payments to Royal. The only exception is when the client pays in cash in which case the agency ,must have a trust account to hold the clients funds in, part of the contract that TA's agree to to do business with Royal. (North America)
  14. It was done to accommodate the shore excursions and other cruise planner items. These can only be set up for one voyage as opposed to 3 if WC guests only had one number and large leg segment guests only had one reservation number
  15. Those 17 legs have been in the works for a long time, they just haven't been made public until now. Given the size of the ship compared to other ships that do world cruises it would have been unrealistic to think that they could sell out an entire ship for the full Voyage or even the 4 segments.
  16. Junior suites say suites on their boarding pass and board with the rest of the suites.
  17. JS's getting into CK on Q class never seems to be an issue. Fewer suites and a larger space. Oasis class is a different story.
  18. There are no Grand Loft suites on Symphony. Those are On Q class. Guessing they meant either Grand suite or Crown loft suite, neither of which are Star class
  19. Hasn't been announced but was told it will be soon. It will be on Royals site.
