  1. It is after final payment. You can only do what you are describing up to final payment After final regular cancellation policies apply.
  2. I don't have the e mail anymore but I copied it from an e mail sent to Travel agents from Royal
  3. Here is the cancellation schedule. you are now under 30 days so 100% penalty. If you or your travelling party contract Covid within 10 days of sail date you can cancel for a refund. Royal is now asking for documented testing (supervised) to confirm this unlike before when documentation was rarely asked for. Cruises that are cancelled prior to the sail date, and CruiseTours that are cancelled prior to the first day of the CruiseTour, may be subject to a cancellation charge. The amount of the cancellation charge shall be determined as shown in the table below and shall vary depending on how far in advance of the sail date (or first day of the CruiseTour) the Operator receives notice of cancellation. FOR 1 TO 4 NIGHT CRUISES (including Holiday sailings) IF CANCELLATION IS MADE CANCELLATION CHARGE 75 days or more prior to the first day of the Cruise No charge (except for Nonrefundable Deposit amounts) 74 to 61 days 50% of total price 60 to 31 days 75% of total price 30 days or less 100% of total price (No refund) FOR 5 NIGHTS OR LONGER CRUISES (including Holiday sailings and Cruisetours) IF CANCELLATION IS MADE CANCELLATION CHARGE 90 days or more prior to the first day of the Cruise No charge (except for Nonrefundable Deposit amounts) 89 to 75 days 25% of total price 74 to 61 days 50% of total price 60 to 31 days 75% of total price 30 days or less 100% of total price (No refund)
  4. update. there were 40 itineraries that initially offered 2 stops on MN and NV but that was in 2019 and that was changed I believe.
  5. There are a couple out there but I have not seen any sites thatr\ allow you to search for that
  6. Pretty sure at this point Royal is only allowing refunds for confirmed and documented cases and not just exposure.
  7. Royal is offering refunds for guests that contract Covid within 10 days of departure through April 30, 2023
  8. Dress your best. Night 2. Basically the same as formal nights on other ships.
  9. Look on the app for this weeks sailing to see what Is open Yes the soda package works at the restaurants
  10. OK here's a screenshot from Symphony..same thing. There are no obstructed balconies on Oasis class.
  11. There are no obstructed balconies on Wonder. What you are seeing is obstructed Oceanview cabins (window)
  12. The multi quotes throw me off sometimes. I get an e mail notification but it condenses it so this is what I see. Vikki is also glad about no surgery.
  13. Apologies, by the way you wrote your post it was a logical conclision. Yes I am a TA and deal with many things you are describing on a daily basis use trying to offer some insights and explanations from a different perspective.
  14. Your Genie will reach out to you prior to your sailing and can take care of any reservations.
  15. I can tell you what probably happened there. When you search on Royals site and select a cabin that cabin is removed from inventory for 20 to 30 minutes whether you book it or not. Another annoying glitch in their system. You look at it on Roysls website and then call the TA and they won't see it. By the time you hang up and call Royal back it is back in inventory. Happens to me all the time with clients and it's the first thing I ask them. It just means I sit there for 20 minutes refreshing the system waiting for the cabin to show back up so I can get them the cabin they want.
  16. Not something that I have noticed in the hours per day that I am on their site. As in my previous post cabins appearing and disappearing are easily explained by normal course of business activities. It's s little easier for companies selling widgets. Royal has over 40 categories on 20 plus ships with a different sailing every week. How Royal creates its sense of urgency is with their fake sales with the threat of that 60% off the second guest ending tomorrow or next week and yes I can attest to the fact that it eorks based on the number of calls I get saying they need to book before this sale ends.
  17. In the case of the suites with few cabins TA's can put cabins on hold for 24 hours or in some cases up to 2 weeks. This is very common and TA's may put an Aquatheatre suite on hold for a client on multiple sailings while the client decides on which one they want. This is entirely different than the cabins that are held back to satisfy group requirements. Royal will also put cabins on hold to satisfy guarantee cabins that they have sold but not yet assigned.
  18. Not really. If they held cabins then you could choose a specific cabin that that a TA had. With Royal holding them back and the category is sold out then all you can book is a gty. It also eliminates individual TA's from holding premium cabins within a group and blocking others from being able to book them.
  19. They hold space, not actual cabins and yes there are 2 checkpoints, one at 180 and the other at 120 days to sailing.
  20. Ta's have space, not actual cabins. You cannot own a cabin until the full deposit is paid. Royal will hold enough cabins back to cover the allocated group space that they have contracted out to TA's. That is why at 180 and 120 days prior to sailing (group checkpoints where Royal can recall unsold group space based on sales) you can see an influx of cabins. There are many times that I am able to book clients into group space in a gty cabin for a category that is sold out, even when the entire ship is sold out but it is Royal holding the cabins and not TA's.
