  1. Still open for booking on Royals site so it's not a full charter
  2. After final payment both refundable deposits and non refundable deposits are treated equally. You follow the cancellation schedule as set out on your invoice. Taxes and fees as well as prepaid gratuities get refunded. You are then assessed the penalty as stated on your invoice based on how many days to sailing you are. You are refunded whatever is not in penalty. You then file a claim with your insurance company for what was held in penalty by Royal. They will provide a letter for the insurance company stating the penalty amount withheld.
  3. In this case the Royal agents gave the correct information. It was their travel agent that was not following the proper procedure to get the gratuities added at the old rate. FYI, I have also added gratuities to bookings made prior to Sept 2022 today and they were added at the old old rate of $14.50
  4. Yes the will honor the old rate. The issue is that I would bet money on is that your TA is trying to add the gratuities themselves on line through cruising power. That will bring up the new rate. To get the old rate your agent must call and they have a code that gets applied to put the old rate on the booking. I just did it today for a client.
  5. 5 night or less $100 per person 6-9 night is $250 pp 10-14 is $450 pp 15+ is $500 pp same for refundable and non refundable
  6. Yes the fare is higher...random amounts, The deposit is the same either way
  7. Unfortunately many TA's are shortsighted and only look at that one sale that they are working on as opposed to building long term relationships with their clients.
  8. That date was week of, not the actual date. The actual date that I has was Wednesday Nov 15th, The first 2 releases went according to my dates
  9. Absolutely not. I have had bookings during Covid that were repriced probable 10 times.
  10. As a TA I can definitely tell you your TA does not know what they are talking about.
  11. You are correct. Certain cabins are allocated to each embrakation port. If it was wide open it would leave a lot of rooms not booked for the 3 or 4 days between.. How they decide what staterooms and how many of each stateroom would be decided by revenue based on historical sales by port.
  12. The balcony discount is a stateroom discount and not per person. For that reason they take the balcony discount off the stateroom total and then take the new total and multiply that by .75 to calculate your 150% solo supplement. That is the way it has always been calculated. Your DP340 is not meant to be half the cost. it is a 150% solo supplement which is 75% of the cost of the cruise fare for 2 guests. Solo cabins are entirely different and not eligible for the 150% solo supplement
  13. You will have to ask at the restaurant on board. It is actually added on to your reservation even though a voucher is issued the voucher is not needed and cannot be used unless they also see it attached to your reservation
  14. Yes, cancel and rebook and hope that Royal is quick with your refund Unfortunately they wont just refund you the difference, it is like starting over
  15. Nope. The WJ is at the back just like the Oasis class. What you see is the Aquadome food market
  16. As others have said, it is fine. It is the system showing that less than the deposit has been made and normally this would have the booking in ";offered" status. Next cruise bookings have that status changed to "Booked" status the same as if it has a full deposit so the booking will not cancel.
  17. Stockholders is non refundable. Credit card should be refundable I believe. On board they apply / use the non refundable first
  18. It will definitely stay. You should clarify with your TA though if this was part of the $150 they quoted so you know what to expect to appear on board.
  19. Yes it will stay on. I edited my post but you really should just call your TA and they can very easily clarify it instead of having people on here guess.
  20. Group rate would come with a $50 group OBC. In addition to that a$50 early booking OBC if booked more than 6 months in advance and a C&A balcony discount was not applied. This may be included in what the TA said. You should be calling your TA to find out what this is
  21. Does it show as the $50 in the upper bar on your planner. maybe it is just a savings on that excursion as opposed to actual OBC
