Just so the OP is clear, they have to change the ship and sail date immediately. It is not like a while ago where you would get an FCC for everything but the penalty amount. If you do not pick a new ship and sail date (basically move the reservation) you will forfeit the entire amount

I figured I would try it and then if it did just get the concierge to fix it -

It was on Icon last week. You ordered the photos and they were delivered right to your stateroom. No issues with using our free diamond photos although it gid appear as if it was going to charge you but it showed up as a 0 charge on the folio. -

She is definitely coming in March. My May cruise on Explora from Vancouver to LAX she has to work so I'm taking my daughter on that one. -

Just saw a post on FB that this week's guests are getting the same fabulous seafood lunch that we did in the WJ. -

While technically it may be called the Promenade most people think of the Promenade as the indoor section of deck 5 and not the running track. -
On Royal you can change ship and sail date for a $100pp penalty so moves are still possible for a relatively minor cost.

They lead to the outdoor walking track not the Promenade. -
Most likely explanation is her drydock has been extended

I would certainly not classify Utopia as elegant. The 2 ships are more similar than than different with respect to demographics they attract and he attractions they provide. There are definitely more areas that are really adults only even if not listed as suchon Icon. If you are looking for elegant without the amusement park atmosphere you need to keep your fingers crossed that Discovery class is built without the amusement park attractions. -

Safe travels and enjoy leg 2. We arrived at the elevator lobby on deck 12 at 7:40 and had cleared security at MIA by 8:30. There was also a 10 minute delay waiting for a taxi that wasn't one of the vans that have a 30% surcharge. -

Toby ended off the week on a high note by winning the Best of the Best competition on the Flowrider. The first one to sign the board. Thanks to his cheering squad of @Ozark_Kid (John and Sharon) and @FromSea2ShiningSea (Marty and Helen) ascwell as friends of mine who were also on this sailing along with a bunch of new friends he met on board. -

A huge shout out to @cruisinghawg and @FromSea2ShiningSea and @Ozark_Kid for posting all the spectacular photos and sharing this amazing ship with the CC community. My own personal impressions is that this ship definitely has elevated the cruising experience and even with the limited number of kids on board it is easy to see how Royal has done a fantastic job of separating the kids areas while still managing to leave a lot of space that will have no or very few kids. I truly hope that the staffing levels remain as they are and do not fall victim to future cutbacks. Little things like having a towel station by every pool go a long way in ensuring a great experience. It was so nice meeting many of you on board for the first time and I look forward to the day our paths cross again on another ship. -

Unfortunately Toby now has a liking for Lobster tails. Mental note to myself to start inviting Sarah on these as she does not like Lobster. -

Not sure what ship Captain Johnny will be assigned to. Captain Loy and Captain Teo are the 2 Icon Captains -

It doesn't hurt to ask. Worst they can say is no. I'm betting the options you are presented with are accept the room with their sincerest apologies, or get a full refund and your cruise is cancelled. You hit the nail on the head with your options. -
Changing C&A Status + Booking Onboard
Ourusualbeach replied to bundtkate's topic in Royal Caribbean International
For a balcony refundable it is $75, non refundable $100. Insides and OV are less and not worth it at you would lose the early booking bonus for the group. -
Changing C&A Status + Booking Onboard
Ourusualbeach replied to bundtkate's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You can book either refundable or non refundable on board and move it to a group and get the lower group rate. Just realize that booking the nrd will mean that even moved into the group itcwill stay non refundable and you will have to pay the extra deposit before it can be moved into the group as groups require full deposit and do not accept thevreduced next cruise deposit
