  1. I remember the first time I saw the dolphin fountain. It’s exactly like the dolphins on top of the Dolphin Hotel at Disney World. There’s a lot to that island, including volcanoes and beaches.
  2. @Ozark_KidI’ll never ever catch up without skipping multiple pages. I tried scanning some and gave up. I did see you’re getting a scooter. It sounds like a good one, and will keep you independent for a long time. Your attitude of enjoying life will help you and your family. I think about you even when I don’t have time to play on the computer. Mimi
  3. No matter how much I twirl, there are long kind strands hanging off. So I wind up with a lump the size of a softball that doesn’t fit into my mouth! How the heck do others manage?
  4. Speaking of MDR menus, I checked out Mariner for Sept 29 in the app and made a note of what I would eat each night in case I would make Dick happy and eat in Windjammer one night. I went back yesterday, and no menu. Checked just now, no menu. I wonder if they’re tweaking it…for the better.
  5. I use half of my Diamond voucher every couple of days to buy a bottle of water and a can of Diet Coke. Wind up usually up leaving some in the fridge.
  6. The guy that did my MRI Monday put earplugs in my ears, and they barely stated in. Consequently the noise was deafening. It either increased my hearing loss, or cleaned my ears out!
  7. It would have been fun to meet. And then to have a familiar face to run into! When I talk about anything that gets posted here, I always say “one of my friends…” because we know as much about each other than our local friends, maybe even more!
  8. Well, this is a disappointment! I came all the way here to be entertained! The Kenai Peninsula and Prince William Sound would have been great places to visit while in Seward. but I guess Anchorage still has Chilcoot Charlie’s.
  9. We always do deck 8. Central Park is so pleasant to walk through, the distance between elevators doesn’t seem so far. and Park Cafe for breakfast and a beef on weck for lunch? Priceless!
  10. We sail on the 29th. There’s a new tropical depression forming that will probably be going up the coast when we do. After all these years waiting, we may not get to Bermuda!
  11. I bought a music box in Interlachen. Two of my granddaughters jumped off a mountain there, separated by half a dozen years.
  12. No Park Cafe, no Sorrento’s, but hopefully, if Mother Nature is kind, there will be Bermuda!
  13. I was afraid because we can’t reserve entertainment until we’re onboard, they’d be behind the times with Muster. That’s very good news, Ken!
  14. The last time we sailed on Mariner, she was new! two questions for recent Mariner cruisers: Is Muster the old way or can we watch the video on our iPhones and then just check in, like we’ve done on other ships. And, since there’s no Sorrento’s, where will I get my pizza, and will it be like Sorrento’s, whole pie and customized? Sitting on the balcony with pizza and cold beer is pure bliss!
  15. That’s what happened to us. I got a nesssge from Cruise Planner that our plans had changed and my Internet charge was being refunded. Heart attack time, as it was two weeks before the cruise. I called and got reinstated. Royal’s accounting had added a $3.00 charge to our record. Without notifying me. Your idea is a good one!!!
  16. We stayed at the H10. Somehow we got a suite, so really really liked it, plus the breakfast buffet was excellent, with all you could drink Cava. Alas, I’m a wimpy drinker.
