Solstice to Alaska - First Sailing for 2023 - Hopefully Live
juanrod replied to Chrissit's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Totally understand about feeling well enough to fly. On our 10 hour flight home from Rome in October, got horribly sick half way home, so for 5 hours wanted to rip my head off from the pressure in my head from flying . Ended up testing positive when we got home. Make sure you feel like you are on the mend before flying -

@Chrissit sorry your group caught Covid. Hope you are getting rest and drinking lots of fluids. At least it sounds like they didnβt make you move staterooms -

Lots of good options for both stops with viator for wine tasting and private tours. The ship should also offer catamaran tours depending on what time you are there -
@Jim_Iain was sharing your travels with dh at lunch today and he said unless you adopt us, we will never be able to travel when we retire like the two of you get to do π. He also said unless gas prices come down in California, we will just be walking around our block and vacation will be a stop at Starbucks Loving all your pics and is getting me in the mood for our trip in august

Yes we have had a beautiful weekend. Opened all the windows and spring cleaned , lots of bags of trash and donation boxes, then started my list for our British Isles cruise , 110 days and counting . Will be curious on your pans in cork and other stops for British isles stops to make sure we donβt miss anything

When we stayed at doubletree I was like a little kid at Christmas, made my coffe and watched solstice come into port for my embark day to make sure she actually arrived then I watched the sun rise with all those beautiful boats in front of me and their breakfast in the restaurant was good to start the day π₯
