  5. Patti catches me with John and Gerry at the Red Frog Tiki Bar, and then continues with her photo tour……. Not long after this picture was taken, a gentleman came up to me at the Tiki Bar and introduced himself as Bob as in jedi bobs, a member of Cruise Critic. He just wanted to say hello and thank us for the reviews that we do. He asked where Patti was, and of course I told him that she was around somewhere taking pictures. He was excited to meet her as he told me that he learned to say Patti in sign language. I told him that Patti doesn’t sign, but instead reads lips. He then left to go search for her. I thought that it was so cool and thoughtful for him to do something like that in anticipation of meeting us. We did meet Bob and his wife Ann several times during this cruise. Great people! Patti has found some loungers in the shade if you want to limit your exposure in the sun….. Here are a couple of Beach Pool views…… Patti is checking out some of the lunch options in the Beach Pool area. She starts with the Seafood Shack….. She moves over to Street Eats. Here’s what’s cooking at Time Fries….. To be continued…..
  6. From the deck plans it looks like outside seating for Bonsai Sushi. Never saw anyone out there.
  7. Yes, but they'll have her fixed up in no time. We'll be on her in January. We'll see her one more time in the next segment. 😎
  8. Thanks for reading. Patti also thanks you! Enjoy your cruise on the Mardi Gras! 😎
  9. Patti doesn't miss anything. I just had to flip through the pictures. 😁
  10. We were not required to do a B2B Covid test. Since the beginning of April the ships doctor determines whether or not to test. I forgot to mention that in the review. Thanks for the reminder. 😎
  11. Not at all! Our biggest regret is that we didn't set another time to meet you guys for drinks or dinner. We looked for you guys the rest of the cruise, but we never found you. On a ship that big with 5,400+ people, it's not surprising. Next time we won't let that happen!
  12. What a great afternoon we had. W and I went through about 6 of those quart size Dos Equis! Since I'm still on our turnaround day on my review, I don't want to keep the peeps waiting, so here's a couple to tide you over.....
  13. This way to the Ropes Course….. Mini Golf….. Carnival Waterworks….. To be continued…….
  14. Patti checks out Bolt. It did not run at all last week, and we have no idea if it will run at all this week….. Views around the Ultimate Playground….. To be continued……
  15. Patti checks out Camp Ocean and Dr. Seuss Bookville, which is right next door to the Family Harbor Lounge….. Patti stops at the Tiki Bar for a quick drink with me…… This is the view of the Beach Pool from the Tiki Bar….. Caribbean Sounds with Joel Joseph….. Patti is on the move again as she heads up to Ultimate Playground on Deck 18….. To be continued…….
  16. Off the Mardi Gras three weeks ago. We were not tested prior to the second cruise.
  17. Here are some Family Harbor Lounge views….. This is the ironing room on Deck 4 across from cabin # 4320…… To be continued……..
  18. Here is the B2B information that we received the other day……. We have the same cabin for the next leg as well. When we book B2B cruises we make that a requirement. We do book way in advance, so that is never an issue for us. Around 8am Patti and I head up to the Marketplace for breakfast. Afterwards, we head down to the Flamingo Restaurant where all the B2B’ers are to meet. On the way, Patti gets these shots of our old fellow passengers leaving the ship. Have a safe trip home! Once at the Flamingo Restaurant, we check in and receive our new Sail & Sign cards. We sit with our friends John and Gerry (Chipster2). There are 140 people doing a B2B today. Coffee, tea, juice, and water are available while we wait for the ship to clear….. Around 9:30am we were led off the ship, through the terminal, and down to customs. We did the facial recognition thing, and were immediately led back on to the ship. That whole thing took about 15 minutes. Once back on we had the ship to ourselves for about an hour. There was no group picture. We were given a voucher for a free B2B picture which would be taken at the Fiat by Cucina later this evening. We were not served mimosas when we re-boarded, but instead we were each given a drink coupon that could be used anywhere. Now that we are back on board here are today’s “Fun Times”…… Around 11am they started letting our new fellow passengers on the ship……. Patti and I went to our muster station in the casino and got that out of the way. I went up to the Red Frog Tiki Bar with John and Gerry, while Patti wanted to get some pictures of some venues she hadn’t gotten to yet. She made her way down to Deck 4 to check out the Family Harbor Lounge….. To be continued…..
  19. Your timing is perfect. I'm about to post the B2B stuff now!
  20. The LNG transport spins around and comes alongside the Mardi Gras directly below us….. Here are some views of today’s beautiful sunrise….. To be continued…..
  21. Day # 8 (April 30th) - Turnaround Day (6am – 4pm). We were up at 6am to beautiful day! We are already docked back at Terminal 3 in Port Canaveral. Stepping out onto the balcony, we see our old friend the Carnival Freedom pulling into port. We’ve seen a lot of her the past eight days…… A short time later the LNG transport appears. It’s here to refuel the Mardi Gras….. To be continued…….
  22. You guys are doing it right! It takes more than one week to enjoy all that the Mardi Gras offers. Heck, even after two weeks we didn't experience everything!
