  3. Once back on board we made our way to Guy’s Burger Joint for some lunch. Patti’s ankle was a little puffy from all that walking, so she went back to the cabin to lie out on the balcony and put her feet up. I went over to the Tiki Bar and stayed there until the 4pm sail away. I went back to the cabin and joined Patti on the balcony for our sail away. This picture shows that we could look straight down to the water from our balcony….. Here are some views as we sailed away from San Juan….. To be continued……
  4. Around 1:15pm Patti met me at Senor Frog’s…… We had a couple of drinks, and then made our way back to the ship. Had to pose with Senor Frog himself first…… We’re ready to head up the gangway….. Even though the protocols stated otherwise, masks were optional almost the whole time we were off the ship. There were a few stores, like Walgreen's, CVS. and others, that did require a mask to enter. Not one time were we asked to show our vaccination cards. To be continued…….

  6. Ah, got it! Never got around to trying Sea Dogs for lunch, nor did I try Street Eats. Guess we'll have to go back on her and fill in the blanks! 😁
  7. Back when we were raising our boys, we used to do the drive straight through. Now we break it up into two days about 8 1/2 hours each day.
  8. At this point I decide that I am going to head down the hill and head to Senor Frogs. Patti is going to walk around Old San Juan exploring, browsing the shops, and taking pictures….. Patti catches me resting under a shady tree….. I then went the rest of the way to Senor Frogs, and Patti continued her tour of Old San Juan….. To be continued……

  10. We are walking the brick streets of Old San Juan…. We decide to climb the hill up to Castillo San Cristobal….. To be continued…..

  14. I feel like we're home. We've spent a total of 42 days on that ship, and she took us to Hawaii. 😀
  15. Here are some more from Street Eats. This is Steam Dream….. Time Fries….. Seafood Shack….. This is the Beach Pool Towel Hut and the life vest rack….. Around 9:30am we decided to get off the ship. There are gangways both forward and mid ship on Deck 3. We are ready to begin our walk….. To be continued……

  18. We decided to take a stroll around the ship before getting off. Here is Big Chicken which is open for breakfast. We will be trying the breakfast menu later in the cruise….. Here is the Tides Bar….. Moving up to Deck17, here we are looking down on the Tides Pool and hot tubs…. From up here, Patti gets these views of San Juan….. To be continued…..
  19. I guess our top 3 would be Aruba, Bermuda, and Half Moon Cay, not in any particular order. Our favorite cruise was the one we took on the Splendor to Hawaii.
  20. This is why we drive down to Florida from New Jersey. It helps that we are semi-retired and can take the extra time to do so.
  21. The ship is docked by 6:30am. Here are some views of the port area from our balcony….. Now that we have arrived, here are today’s “Fun Times”…... We are in no hurry to get off the ship today, as we have no excursion planned. We will get off later and just take a walk around Old San Juan. Around 8:15am we went up to the Marketplace for breakfast. Here are our breakfast plates….. To be continued……
