So looking at a 9 night Constellation Eastern Europe cruise. At 1st glance I thought it was great, the 1st 2 nights are in Venice aboard the ship. But......they are actually in Raveena. Soooooo, how do you make that work?? If Raveena wasn't more than 2 hours away it'd be fine but if you fly in on day one you really can't tour Venice at that point because you'll be tired and you will have your luggage. If you wait til day 2 then you have 2+ hours there and 2+ hours back, is that worth it? Should you waste another day an go in the day before, get a hotel. But then you'll still have to go to Raveena at some point and check in to the ship(what are check in times?). Then the 2nd day do you go back to Venice or just stay on the ship? Probably too much to hope for that Celebrity would have shuttles going back and forth from the ship to Venice???? Whatcha all think?

I've seen plenty of stories on here where the pax forgot or lost their passport and someone from home has emailed them a COPY of their BC and that was accepted. FWIW....

My experience is Delta, Alaska and United you can get seats at time of booking. American you need to wait till you pay for the tickets. You can always reserve them and see if you can get your seats. Most tickets are changeable/refundable til final payment (because you don't pay for them til final payment)

Just wanted to let everyone know if you plan on doing an Alaska Cruise in 2023, RCCL air to sea is running a fantastic promo for air. Just an example from my home town of San Diego to Seattle. Check out that first class price, and yes thats round trip!!

There is one brick and mortar travel agency out there that is nation wide. Thousands of branches that you can actually walk into and talk to an actual person. They give benefits and they do all the work. Heck, most of you probably have one of their cards in your wallet or purse right now. If you want service, don't expect that from an online agency (Call Center). 🙂

I know its not n Oasis class, but Odyssey by far has the best Solarium.

Has anyone rented a UTV and toured the island on their own, not with a guided tour? if so, how'd it go? Did you have a map of off road areas, POI's etc?

Anyone know what the Millennium is doing between those dates. No cruises scheduled. I know the Summit used to be chartered pre covid around those dates. Not sure if the Millennium is doing the same.

You can usually get seats with AA only through the Celebrity reps. If you try and get seats on AA.com it wont let you until they are ticketed. The reps seem to have a work around. Delta and United will usually let you pick seats on their websites before ticketing.

We have AA to San Juan and not able to choose seats on aa.com but I called Flights by Celebrity today and they were able to choose them for me. I was going to pay for them but he said he could get the seats without paying. I checked on AA.com and the seats are assigned but I can't change them.

My guess if RCG wants to keep their passengers they will follow suit. I know there are Loyal To Royal folks and Celebrity Die hards that wont switch. But I think a lot of people who are going to choose a cruise and you have cruise lines saying "no testing over here" and RCG is saying "sorry no embarkation unless you've tested" my guess is a lot of people will choose no test. I've been on 4 cruises since December and the worst part was getting that test result. What if.....

There are 2 aspects of the group. #1 is the pricing. Group pricing will be based off dbl occupancy, that is correct. #2 for the 8 cabins to get the 1 free berth, that can be a triple or quad cabin. You wont get the group pricing for that cabin but it will count as one of the 8 for the free berth and it will receive the group amenities. (OBC etc) TBH a lot times the current royal pricing is cheaper than the group pricing anyway. So they will book at the current price and just move that cabin in the group.

Sorry the wifi has been terrible. I try and post things and it sits forever. Big news today is we are missing our port of call at Skagway due to a mudslide that has damaged the peir we would dock at. So instead we are heading to the Endicott Arm and Dawes glacier today and we'll have a full day in Juneau tomorrow instead of being there from 2pm to 8pm we'll be there 8am to 7pm. I called the company I booked my excursion with who is in Skagway said the mudslide was pretty bad and dock is pretty bad too. Again that's her words, not mine. We were almost there, maybe an hour to go and the ship did a 180, thought maybe he was showing both side of the ship the scenery, but nope he kept going south. If I hear anything else, I'll let y'all know

Sorry about the long delay. So far it's been a great cruise. Lots going on. Definitely full or close to full. Feels way more crowded then our Odessey cruise. Sail away from Seattle was beautiful.

And then there's this, really?? For safety? Come on... Really don't care about the time changes, but why safety??

We had 1 guest in a wheel chair and the directed us to the Key line. Very short at 1st, after that was check in, since we had the wheel chair we pretty much sailed right on. And just so you all know, no checking of vaccine card or negative test. I don't even know where they would have asked for it. Like I said, we were kinda in the ada lines so maybe other lines were different. Either way I think the embarcation process seemed really good.

On Quantum right now on an Alaska. Sailing, don't see any.

And there she is.... Last Royal ship was Odyssey, I guess we'll be doing a lot of comparing. Definitely going to miss Playmakers.

Like I said yesterday was a whole day of exploring, mainly the Olympic Peninsula. Just love it over there and the best part is you can take the ferry over. So cool, been a long time since we've been on these ferries. The NCL Encore

It's cruise day, sorry for the long delay. We spent all day yesterday exploring. We are staying at the Edgewater Hotel right at the water front. The NCL Bliss and Encore are right next to us. This would be a perfect hotel for the pier 66 folks. I forgot this one, as we're flying in, just the tippy top of My Rainier. The weather has been very Seattle like, very gloomy. I don't remember it being like this in June, usually it's really nice. But luck of the draw I guess. 🫤
