If you are trying to go to one of the main dining rooms, they will try to make room for you but there is no guarantee, especially as you are wanting to eat at the most popular times. Your best bet is to consult with the blue maître d’ staff who will assist you in changing to the main dining room on a night by night basis.

  15. The changes from Amsterdam to Rotterdam for some cruises’ arrivals and departures was due to some construction work that was being done. Perhaps that project will go on hold now, but it is likely that River Cruises will continue to sail from Amsterdam so it is possible that the construction will need to to be completed for them.

  20. Other ships may be nicer and other itineraries may be better, but between Apex and silhouette (the two choices the OP is considering) Sillhouette is better for its Sky Lounge and its childrens area and its traditional balconies
