Maasdam Question

Has anyone been on the Maasdam recently or currently on it now? Have you experienced any vibration problems in public rooms or cabins?

We have heard that this is a problem on this ship. Hopefully, it has been addressed, but if not, we'd like to know.

Thank you

If you could find a ship that does not vibrate when pushed to maximum speeds for operational reasons, please tell me ;)

Please do not forget, these are ships and things can start to vibrate when age progresses but this can also be present because of load (weight) of the ship, course, wind etc...

We have done a cruise on her february last year and have two booked in the future and looking forward to it !

We will be sailing on the Maasdam for the first time in March. We have been on a few of the older ships ( Statendam and Veendam). There were a few issues on both including some plumbing and AC ones but nothing that interfered with my cruise experience.

We experienced this in Sept 2017 for reference, as shown in the youtube video - all 18 days Boston to San Diego via Panama. Any reports before or after Sept 2017? I would use Sept 2017 as your benchmark, and hope to get reports after this date.

Still a good cruise on a very nice ship, but this was a major drawback we had not experienced anything like this before and we have taken several longer cruises on the Maasdam over the years - 14 day Caribbean and 21 day Mediterranean Transatlantic. I saw no mention of the vibrations in later CC member reviews after Sept 2017.

We were recently on board the Maasdam for 22 nights,(disembarked December 19th), we did not experience or hear of any vibration problems.
In general how was the condition of the ship?
