Glory Captains Suite

We are planning future cruises and was wondering if anyone has stayed in the Captain's Suite. I know the Glory has one and there are a handful of other ships also. Can anyone tell me anything about the service, perkes, or give advice on if it is good or bad.

No perks above and beyond the standard suite perks which aren’t all that great. You’ll still need FTTF if you want your cabin ready at embarkation, Priority luggage delivery, and the dedicated GS line.

Plus I believe they escort you to the suite.

Carnival suite perks are week. We are looking at a 14 day Princess to Hawaii and the suite has priority boarding, dining, special dinner, and Spa privileges. However, admittedly it's a bit more than Carnival, OK more than a bit.

Great rooms, we have stayed in two, on the Liberty (the first done in a retrofit) and the Sunshine. As others have mentioned, there are not a lot of perks but these rooms (two rooms, separate living and bedroom and two full bathrooms are great. Full floor to ceiling windows with fantastic views.

Suite guests get priority boarding, debarkation, tendering and guaranteed dining.

Captain's suite guests get escorted to their rooms...even if waiting on the lady to come get you takes longer than if we just went...Oh well, makes ya feel fancy.

We never got escorted to the captains suite on the liberty...so hit or miss...not that I needed escorting lol. Every night we had something sent to our room. There was a fruit basket there for us on arrival, chocolate strawberries another time, wine, and cookies. There may have been more but I cant remember. The balcony is huge, with loungers, and the extra bath and walk in closet were great.
