Weather on Baltic Cruise in May?

Is it too cold to go on a Baltic cruise from May 19-May 31?

We did it in May in 2016. It was cool but not too cold. We just had layers. In almost all ports, we had intermittent rain showers. Tulips were a sight in some ports.

Google search a couple of your ports. For example, "Copenhagen May weather".

When we cruised the Baltics, we embarked in Copenhagen on May 26 after spending several days there. We had lovely and warm-ish weather throughout the cruise until the next-to-last day when it was a bit chilly and rainy.

You can get ideas of average highs and lows, but you never quite know what weather YOU will have. Take layers -- especially a good rain jacket.

Please remember that weather is not the same year over year in many parts of the world.

Might be warm when you go, or even cool.

We look up historical averages using one of several weather sites but we also look at record lows and highs realizing that the weather that day could be closer to one of the records.
