Would they charge me if I called and swapped my son into our room? Technically it's all on paper and we could just switch the room for 2 with the room for 3 we have. Don't want to have to buy a drink package for our daughter who prefers not to drink........

I believe you can change guests in stateroom up to 24 hours before the cruise, for no charge. However, at least one of the original names must remain on the booking.

If your only concern is the Drink Package, I believe that until after Dec. 31 sailings, you can still purchase a package for one person in the cabin. You might want to try to pre-purchase before your cruise and see if it can be done, or call Royal Caribbean.

If they do not drink at all they do not need to buy it. Exceptions to every rule. That is in the fine print. However you would have to call and talk an ahent to have it taken care of.

I was able to go online and PAY for each of us in separate rooms for the package. It did not make me buy for my daughter. Hope I don't have an issue once on board........... I didn't call and try to swap rooms.
