Tante Din Posted July 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Hi there. We will be on Key West as a stop on our cruise. My husband will need a shave while we are in port. Is there a Barber Shop you know in walking distance ? I tried to find out something online but was not succesful. Do we need a reservation or are walk ins possible ? Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted July 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2017 We've been to Key West many times, but never to a barber shop, but I checked Bing for you. Two fairly close to the port are both on Southerd. I haven't patronized either one. So I can't vouch for them or speak to what they charge. Perhaps a true local and not just a frequent visitor can suggest something you'll like even better. bhopal21 Posted July 20, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2017 I would advise you to use the barber shop onboard your cruise ship rather than spend your vacation time in port doing such. Personally I would find it much more convenient and probably more reasonable. Mike:)
Tante Din Posted July 20, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 20, 2017 That is also an idea. Do you maybe know what they would charge for this ?? Nadine
cb at sea Posted July 20, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Most barber shops are "walk ins"....no worries! If he can't get a shave on the ship, just head to whatever barber is available!

Didn't take long and he did it on a day where we were just walking around town anyway. It was much cheaper on land than on board. Key West is a great place to just walk around so sounds like a good day for the shave. Sent from my iPad using Forums
