Booking Future Cruise While On Board

Recommended Posts

For anyone who has recently booked a future Royal Caribbean Cruise while currently on a RCCL Cruise, I have a question. What types of perks are generally given for booking on board? For example, on Celebrity, if you book on board, they normally give you two free perks (gratuities, beverage package, internet, or OBC, for example), additonal OBC, and a reduced deposit. Does Royal Caribbean offer the same types of perks if you book a future cruise on board?

What (if any) are the benefits of UK passengers booking onboard? Currently we don't have the ability to alter a booking without charge....once we book that is it.

Hi Lizzie,

we get the same as outlined above PLUS we are permitted to make one change free AND if there is a price reduction we can call and ask for it - both of those 'benefits' are not available normally to UK bookings.

I have claimed on the price reduction on one of ours and surprisingly didn't have any argument or query with the agent on the phone - so it does work!!

For that reason we always try and book on board.

Hope that helps, Jean
