dna529 Posted December 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 11, 2017 It's been a year since I have sailed with NCL and I can't remember when cabins are ready. We are on the Epic and are platinum (but I don't think this matters). TIA! Sent from my SM-G900V using Forums mobile app
garycarla Posted December 11, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 11, 2017 Thinking in the 1-2:00 timeframe. Variations of course is ship is late, early, customs, port stuff.
Linda the Book Lover Posted December 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 11, 2017 Both times on the Epic the cabin was ready after we had lunch which is around the time garycarla shared. The last time our bags were also in front of our cabin. That was a really nice surprise.
MikeBTN Posted December 11, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 11, 2017 They will make a general announcement when cabins are ready. As stated above, it will depend on several factors, but 1-2 is generally accurate.
ray98 Posted December 11, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 11, 2017 After 1.
casofilia Posted December 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted December 11, 2017 Another thing it depends on is the number of B2B cruisers. Their cabins are treated as they would be on any other day so the more of them the fewer the cabins that need a full "reconstruction".
jdvmd Posted December 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 11, 2017 Bring along a swimsuit and enjoy the pools and slides while waiting for the cabin to be ready. We did that on the Epic and had the slides all to ourselves.
TexasCigarGuy Posted December 12, 2017 #8 Share Posted December 12, 2017 We travel light and immediately upon boarding (usually around noon) we take our roller bags with us to whatever MDR is open for lunch, have a nice leisurely meal with cocktails and waiter service, and usually during dessert they announce rooms are ready. We thank our waiter, head to our room...bah da bing...100% ready to roll.
