Hi

What type of perks do you get on Freedom class if in grand or owners suite?

Is there a concierge lounge? Special pool and theater seating? Is there a Coastal Kitchen?

Thank you

Noreen

No Coastal Kitchen. There is a Concierge Lounge, pool seating and theater seating.

We sailed on the Liberty of the Seas on June 25, and I wrote earlier about the suite perks on this class of ship. There is a concierge lounge and special seating, but no coastal kitchen. Ultimately, the suite perks are what distinguishes Royal Caribbean from Carnival for me.

Liberty actually has a Suite Lounge, not a Concierge Lounge.

I don't believe suite perks on Freedom class ships are that great but there are few things others haven't mentioned :

Behind the scenes tour

VIP brunch event in Chops

Breakfast in Chops

This is based on experience on IOS a few years ago. Things might have changed since.

I didn't find spending time in Concierge lounge fun. It is a small space which fills up easily. Concierge was overwhelmed with dealing with guest problems/requests to the point where there was a constant line. No real benefit to lining up at guest services.

If I remember correctly, there was a token reserved area on pool deck but nothing special or exclusive.

My favorite suite perks on Freedom were the reserved tiered seating on the pool deck and the escort off the ship. There were always a few loungers available and it is in a great location, and you can't beat getting walked directly to the customs agent without waiting in line. The Concierge lounge didn't do anything for me. It was a small room with no windows and a mediocre drink selection. I'm assuming the drinks were free, but I get the drink package when I cruise, so that would have been no benefit to me.
