Empehi Posted October 14, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2017 How early can one book a flight at LAX after a Princess Cruise and expect to make the flight? We can be first off ( carry our bags off and then take a cab). I know this question has been asked many time but I didn't see it in the first few screens. Thanks .... CruiserBruce Posted October 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Anything before noon will be stressful. Doable, but stressful. Yes, it has been discussed many times. A search reveals: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2454681&highlight=LAX for example.
Rare Keith1010 Posted October 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2017 I agree with CruiserBruce. I would avoid booking a flight before Noon. We prefer 12:30 or after just to be on the safe side and because we don't want to stress about making the flight. Factors such as how many ships are disembarking that day as well as day of the week (weekday vs weekend) are also factors but last time we were at LAX just a couple of months ago the airport itself was very congested just right outside the airport and as we made our way inside the airport. And if you don't have TSA Pre Check that is another consideration. Keith
Cruisin' Chick Posted October 22, 2017 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2017 A native Angeleno agreeing with the previous replies. Don't book any flights before noon, even on weekends, on the day disembarking from a cruise.
