Hertz Civitavecchia Directions

Could someone give me directions from the port to the Hertz rental office. I know we can take the port shuttle but where do we go from there?

Just exit the port (a few yards from the shuttle bus stop) and start walking along the sidewalk keeping the water on your immediate right. This is the same route that goes to the train station and there will be plenty of others going in that direction. Hertz is about 2 blocks (half way to the train station) right off the sidewalk (on your left).

I don't know the street name, but as Hank said, it is the one running along the beach. You will see the giant stature of the couple kissing at the end of WW II. It will be to your right.

 

At some point you will want to cross the street to the other side. There you will see several restaurants and shops. Also, the Hotel San Giorgio. Hetrz is about 100 or 200 yards/meters past the hotel.

The street is Viale della Repubblica and Hertz is at number 10A, just past the Hotel de la Ville. Google maps are your friend here, just put in Viale della Repubblica, 10, Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy, then go to street view and you'll be looking at the office.

Thanks, did it last year, but couldn't remember street to do booking again. Easy walk from where ship shuttle lets you off at port gate entry. thanks
