ralphie Posted September 11, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Rasul: 1st description: (CdnTrekkie) It's a spa service where you are directed to change into robes and then are led by a spa representative to a room that is just for the two of you. The room has an assortment of massages oils, mud, shampoo, conditioners, body scrubs and there is an open air shower, steamroom and also two thermal wall chairs. Basically you are given an hour to given each other a spa threatment on your own and they provide the area and the products. 2nd Description:(macd4)"Rasul" is a mud bath. another: (elleluv)They have a room for 2... the center of the space has a sink and counter... there is a steam room to the left and a shower for 2 on the right. They provide you with products... exfoliant, mask, lotions, etc that you can smear all over each other and then they lock you in the room with your partner for 50 minutes... ralphie Posted September 11, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted September 11, 2009 Another great description: (TangoCruz) The Rasul 'experience' is a timed treatment that lasts 45 minutes but you really have the room for one hour so there is no pressure to hurry. You are provided excellent instructions by the spa attendant on the procedure and then left alone in the well appointed Rasul suite. There is a 2-person shower, a changing area with counter top/mirror and the sauna room. You choose the scent you want from four selections and it is added to the steam water by the attendant before she leaves. You begin by exfolliating each other from head to foot in the sauna room with a sand rub. You then shower together. You re-enter the sauna which is now filled with scented steam. There are three different body muds (cream) provided. You first apply the face cream. You then spread the appropriate mud over each other's body from the waist down and finish from the neck to the waist, being sure to cover all of each others bodies with the soft mud. Then you wait for the timed release of the ceiling showers to wash over you. There are two bench areas to recline on with two shower heads over each. You then get to shower together again and, after drying, select from an assortment of body oils to complete the treatment. You WILL leave the room smiling! There are dozens of threads describing heaven on the seas....thanks, Ralphie Rasul is offered on the Radiance Class and Voyager Class ships. The Radiance Class ships also have the Thermal Suites which is wonderful as well. It is a room overlooking the ocean with internally heated tiled lounge chairs, a Sauna, Steam Room, Aroma Therapy Room. We have really enjoyed that as well.
