Site Problems?

CaribbeanBound

Is this going on with anyone else?

Almost every thread I access, I get an error message:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

It's been so bad today that, just before I post, I highlight all of my reply, and hit CTRL-C to copy it to the clipboard just in case I have to start over again. If so, it's a quick CTRL-V to avoid all that retyping.

No, not a grammar problem with Bethwte, Ma Bell, Lois R. or CaribbeanBound, but with the error message: "There seems to have been a slight problem with the database."

"To have been" refers to a continuing period in the past. Alas, the problem continues to exist. Try "There seems to be . . . ."

Hey Lois just sent you and Terri a post on your Horizon thread and when I was done it disappeared. Now if I was at work I could call the Technical Support Department . Hopefully it will be fixed soon. The index format has changed and they probably disrupted some setting somewhere!!

maybe they've been working on the site...anyone notice that all the sections are now in alphabetical order in a linear format---makes it look at lot neater and easier to find a certain section. If they are working on the site...that could cause error messages to appear.

At first, I thought it was my computer. I have reported the problems and have asked Laura to update us on the problems.

Thanks for your patience and in the future, drop Walt or I an email when you begin experiencing these kinds of things so we can pass it on more quickly. We aren't on the boards at all times and sometimes don't catch a thread like this right away.

THANKS again!
