About 1500 EST the Captain of the Coral Princess announced they were missing a crew member and it was beleaved that he may have gone over board early this morning and was last seen or accounted for this morning about the time the pilot boarded the ship. This is at the entrance to the Port of Cartagena, Colunbia. He stated that after we left the port and near the area belived to be where the crew member may have gone overboard that the ship would commence a search until sundown. Right now it is 16:37 EST and they have both rescue boats out and everyone is looking

Everybody is out on the decks and balconies hoping to spot him but of course the odds are not good. It would seem that this was not an accident but rather a personal choice (no one knows of course at this point) so your prayers for this young Italian would be appropriate. Certainly he has everybody's on board........Denise

Perhaps the young man wanted to live there and took a chance at it. For all anyone knows, he may have had someone pick him up in a boat and he may be living the life there.

Until a body is found, think the best for him.

Ciao for now!!!

If they really wanted to end up living in Columbia, why I don't know, why didn't he just get off the ship when it was in port and not come back? Seems a lot safer than avoiding being shark food.

On the other hand if this was accidental, then we do hope that they ended up securely on shore.
