momphoto Posted December 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted December 18, 2009 So not sure if this is possible?? What if one group booked an inside for 4 people and a balcony for 3. Due to certain circumstances this is the way we have to book but when we get to the ship we want to rearrange what cabin certain people go into, but there will be adults in the cabins either way. Can this be done?? What about the cards to get into the cabins?
CruisingJs Posted December 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Once you're onboard, go to the purser's desk and rearrange everyone. They'll give you new cabin keys and change the billing. We're doing the same thing for our next cruise. At our TA's recommendation, we booked DH with SIL in one cabin and me with DD in another. That way, the kids got our pricing and got to share our future cruise credits.
janina Posted December 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Your luggage will be delivered to the cabins assigned unless you also switch the tags. No problem changing people once your onboard. A lot of people do this just to get 2 cabins at a past passenger fare.:)
paul929207 Posted December 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted December 18, 2009 You can switch cabins on boarding if the cabins will hold the right number of passengers. Not all balcony cabins will hold 4.
caribill Posted December 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted December 18, 2009 Your luggage will be delivered to the cabins assigned unless you also switch the tags. The luggage will be delivered to the cabins listed on the luggage tags. Just put the cabin numbers you want to end up with on each person's luggage tags.
