Crusin' from Fl Posted January 4, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2010 It's every day beginning on day 2...the bread pudding is warm and they have a vanilla sauce for topping and then if you put a little soft serve....wow! LOL I've been able to find it on every RCCL ship I've been on.
numberguy Posted January 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted January 5, 2010 My most favorite dish from my one RCCL cruise is the cream of mushroom soup. Has the sour cream tanginess similar to the sauce used on beef stroganoff. YUM! --Michael

newjerseygeorge Posted February 6, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2010 My favorite dish from one of my RCCL cruises would be Escargot. :D I am also a BIG fan of the Cheese selections for Dessert as long as it is more than your average American, Swiss and a Blue (make it something different or harder to find). YUM

BroncosFan2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Author #11 Share Posted February 7, 2010 I have never tried the cheese selection but since you recommended it, I will try it next cruise. I love cheeses! They always have out a large fruit and cheese selection when they begin serving dinner (along with a large variety of Sushi). We usually grab a snack before dinner. AlwaysPlanning Posted February 17, 2010 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2010 Grand Marnier Souffle but it is no longer on the menu. However, they may prepare it for you if you ask your waiter. I mentioned several nights that it was my favorite dessert while on the Independence OTS recently. The Chef treated the whole table with Grand Marnier Souffles on the last night of our cruise. I also like most of their soups (hot and cold).

BroncosFan2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Author #18 Share Posted February 27, 2010 The chilled soups are good, especially the strawberry. I agree. I am making an effort to try all the chilled soups on my next cruise, especially those that are not fruit (can't wait to try the cucumber). angiemom Posted March 7, 2010 #21 Share Posted March 7, 2010 We are just off the Majesty and they served the Grand Marnier souffle one night in the main dining room. It was great. I also really enjoyed the cuban sandwich at the Compass deli and the cheese plate. The cheese plate was not on the main dining room menu but our waiter brought us one before dessert one night. We enjoyed it so much we ordered one the next day from room service.
BND Posted March 7, 2010 #22 Share Posted March 7, 2010 I love Grand Marnier Souffle. I also loved the Vidalia Onion Tart and I was surprised the first time I had it since it looked like quiche, but it was good. Otherwise, the food on RCI is just okay for the most part. angiemom Posted March 8, 2010 #24 Share Posted March 8, 2010 The cheese plates we had included an assortment of 5 or 6 cheeses, some grapes and water crackers. I know there was a brie, bleu, cheddar, swiss and a couple of other types of cheese.
