Adventure boarding time

Just about to leave for our AOS cruise - does anyone know why the boarding time is so late.

You don't leave port until late. You can usually get on around noon, maybe a little before. It all depends on how quickly the previous cruise clears customs and passengers get off.

Your ship has a late departure to acomadate late arriving passangers from the mainland. That being said, you should be able to board before noon, providing there are no problems.

Get to the pier between 11:00 and 11:30. You'll be on the ship by noon enjoying lunch in the Windjammer. Then you'll have all afternoon to enjoy the ship while others are still on a flight to San Juan.

I agree with Cruiseguy!

 

We have always arrived at the Pier by 10:00 am and are usually among the first, if not the first - to board the ship at about 11:45 am :D

 

Get there early to avoid the lines....

thanks very much for your replies - we usually do as you all say and arrive around 1130, but this is the first time the docs have said such a late boarding time and we didn't want to be stuck at the pier with luggage and nowhere to go. once again, thanks
