truffles2 Posted January 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2010 You can probably get some at Glady's Cafe in St. Thomas. Great local place.
waterbug123 Posted January 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2010 You can probably get some at Glady's Cafe in St. Thomas. Great local place. I second the recommendation for Gladys'. It's tucked away in a little pedestrian alley, surrounded by shops. Gladys (or I assume it's Gladys) sings behind the bar. Very fun atmosphere. robtulipe Posted January 23, 2010 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2010 Yes, it's $8.95. Just use the zoom feature or option on your web page for small or blurry script.
jackdiamond Posted January 24, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2010 If I read the menu correctly, the chowder price was less for a bowl than for a cup. By the way, is her place within walking distance of either Crown Bay or Havensight?
truffles2 Posted January 24, 2010 #8 Share Posted January 24, 2010 It is downtown in one of the gades/alleys.
jackdiamond Posted January 24, 2010 #9 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Thank you Trufles. I would guess that it would be too far for a walk.
truffles2 Posted January 24, 2010 #10 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Actually, we have walked into town many times. If you do any walking at all, you can make it! It is about 20-25 minute walk and there is sidewalk all the way as I recall.
