PrincessNewbie Posted February 10, 2010 #29 Share Posted February 10, 2010 There are coupons for $40 off of spa treatments (I believe they were specific, but I got the lime and salt scrub including massage) if you scheduled the spa treatment to take place on a port day. I used that one and the BOGO coffee card, but did not find many of the others useful. As I recall, some others included: discounts on framing for an art purchase, specially priced photo package, discount on a bottle of champagne (a specific brand that I don't recall), and 10% off at the boutiques. I know there were others, but my memory is failing me. Hopefully you will get some benefit out of the booklet. Thanks for the explanation. You hear alot of these coupon books but no one can ever really say what's in them. More than anything I guess I was interesting in knowing if there was a spa coupon that would be beneficial...thanks again!

He owns a coffee business in Alexandria, VA, roasts his own coffee beans for his shop, knows everything there is to know about coffee. I, on the other hand, am content with the Princess sludge. :D:D

imola Posted February 11, 2010 #42 Share Posted February 11, 2010 OK I am slow this morning, not enough coffee I guess. Anyway let me see if I understand this. In the book there is a coupon to: buy a coffee card good for 15 "specialty coffees" and unlimited fresh brewed coffees as long as there is at least one punch left on the card for $24.00 and then you will get a second card good for the same amount of things at no additional charge. Is that correct? Plus if you do not use all the punches on the card thereby using all 15 of your alotted coffees you can use the card on other Princess cruises. Is that correct? Is there any type if expiration date on the card? Like one year or something. If not this is actually a good deal. Thanks for any information one can provide. We are sailing in April. I hope you understand that not everyone gets it.

Do you know for fact that you will be getting this coupon book? I hope you understand that not everyone gets it. Good question. No I do not know for a fact that we will be getting one. Can you share what magic it takes to get one? Turns out I had an in with the upgrade fairy, who might I need to know to get one of the booklets? I did see in another thread that Princess is now starting to date them with expiration dates and somehow mark them by ship for use on that ship only. Don't know if this is correct only sharing what what I was reading on the other thread. As always thanks for any help.
Cancun01 Posted February 13, 2010 #46 Share Posted February 13, 2010 The Shipwide Savings Coupons (the coupon books with the coffee card promo) provided through TA promotions for some 2010 cruises have an expiry date of December 31, 2010; the Passport to Value coupons (which I believe that everyone receives) also have a December 31, 2010 expiry date but no coffee coupon. The coffee cards do not have an expiry and neither the coupons nor the coffee card are ship specific ( as recent as January 30, 2010).

These coupon books are part of a Princess promotion and occurs several times during the year. You would have had to book your cruise during that time and either Princess or your TA would have advised you if in fact you were the recipient thereof. AFAIK, coffee cards still do not have expiration dates. Other coupons do.

I simply asked my travel agent to hook me up, and he did. As my parents were cruising at the same time, he hooked them up, too. We now have a lifetime supply of coffee cards. Pam in CA Posted February 14, 2010 #50 Share Posted February 14, 2010 I recently booked my first cruise with an online travel agency. The quote indicated that I would receive "onboard coupon booklets valued at $240." I did a CC search to see if I could get some information about just what those coupons might be for but didn't come up with much. I'd appreciate any info you could give me as to what might be included in those booklets.I got one when I boarded my Coral cruise in January. Since I'm already Elite, the coupon for the 10% off in the shops wasn't applicable; I don't drink coffee, don't gamble, and don't purchase photos. That made the coupon book pretty useless. I gave a lot of my coupons away at my Roll Call as some people wanted the BOGO coffee and casino coupons.
