weezlesgirl Posted February 15, 2010 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2010 Does anyone have a picture of the menu from Izumi? I am trying to plan our budget for the cruise.

mivama Posted February 16, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2010 We ate at Izumi twice last week. We had reservations for Tuesday and loved it so much that we made reservations for Friday night, too. It was really top-notch sushi. We pretty much sampled all the rolls and especially loved the boxed salmon and yellow tail rolls and the seared tuna tataki (sp?) roll. You get complementary miso soup and edamame beans. I felt the prices were very reasonable with each roll being less than $5. We had a full meal between us for $30 total. I highly recommend this venue. Starlawyermom Posted February 20, 2010 #6 Share Posted February 20, 2010 Did you make reservations before boarding (on line?)? If nor, how soon after you boarded did you sign up. Is there a "cover" charge. or do you just pay the price listed on the menu? Thanks
FNTssonic Posted February 20, 2010 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I made reservations pretty much as soon as I got on the ship. There is no cover charge, you pay what is on the menu.
josiecorey Posted February 22, 2010 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2010 Is it possible to make reservations before you go on the ship for this restaraunt?

TITISSA Posted February 23, 2010 #10 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Is it possible to make reservations before you go on the ship for this restaraunt? No, I don't think so. It's not on the specialty restaurants page on line...
Iluvcruising2 Posted December 31, 2011 #11 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Do they allow young children to eat at Izumi, say 6 years and 7 years old?
CaptData Posted December 31, 2011 #12 Share Posted December 31, 2011 Children can eat there but recommended as in all Specialty restaurants that you book before the 7 PM slot. Some of the restaurants do not allow kids ie 150 Park and Chefs table.
retiring soon Posted January 1, 2012 #13 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Hi all! I made reservations for lunch in advance & was charged $20 pp but when I told them after eating they reduced the fee to $3 pp I believe. I really liked the experience but not being a sushi lover like DS who I treated, I was disappointed that there was no teriyaki or dessert offered at lunch. I enjoyed it nonetheless.:D ~ Jo ~ :)
JordanDRobinson Posted April 29, 2013 #14 Share Posted April 29, 2013 Speaking of Lunch, does anyone know if the menu is the same at lunch as it is for dinner? Are the Hot Stone / Shabu-Shabu (Hot Pot) offering available during the lunch offerings? Thank You!
ladywraith24 Posted August 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 23, 2016 is there a cap pricewise if you get a complimentary meal in specialty restaurants and is izumi included?
Clarea Posted August 23, 2016 #16 Share Posted August 23, 2016 is there a cap pricewise if you get a complimentary meal in specialty restaurants and is izumi included? You would have to read the fine print on your complimentary meal promo, they are not all the same.
suzyluvs2cruise Posted August 23, 2016 #17 Share Posted August 23, 2016 Children can eat there but recommended as in all Specialty restaurants that you book before the 7 PM slot. Some of the restaurants do not allow kids ie 150 Park and Chefs table. Children can eat at 150 Central Park and Chef's Table if the parents are willing to pay the cover charge. Previously it was recommended that bookings with children be made before 7pm but this has changed and there are no more time restrictions.
