Navigator of the Seas - Royal Suite (Cabin #1620) Pictures

Recommended Posts

Hello Fellow Cruisers!

Here is an inside look in the Royal Suite on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. The cabin number is 1620, which is on deck 10. I hope this helps someone in their decision to book this suite. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I do want to point out that this particular Royal Suite does not include a hot tub on the balcony. :( Other than that, the suite is wonderful!

Check out my photos: :) Navigator of the Seas - Royal Suite :)

Can we say.....Lottery win!

I'll never be in there but the absolute best reason to be, is the double shower....the couple that showers together stays together!;):D And just think of the time you could save getting to dinner! Or not!:p

Great pictures. Did you get any special perks for being in that room? I heard at one time they sent you wine or champagne. Do they do that anymore?? We will be staying in the Royal Suite on the Grandeur in Sept. for my 60th birthday. I know it is not as up to date as the NOS, but the NOS is still in Europe for Sept. But it still looks like a beautiful room.

I can't wait.

BecciBoo,

Ha Ha! I wish we would have won the lottery! We just happen to luck up on availability and an extremely good price. The shower was one of our favorite amenities in the room too! Of course, with the in-room dining menus (Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner), who needs to go to the dining room? ;)

linedancer,

We did receive a $70 bottle of Champagne upon arrival. We also received a daily platter of hors d'oeuvres, a free bottle of Evian, use of two (2) portable ship phones, a fruit basket, fresh flowers, and all of the other perks listed here: :) Enhanced Program for Suite Guests :). If I think of anything else, I will let you know. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Thanks for the reply. Did you stay in your room alot?? Did you eat dinner or lunch in your room? We always do room service for breakfast, but it might be nice to have a private dinner in our room.

One more question. Do they still have butler service??

I don't know if I will be leaving the room very much, except to go to the casino.

Again thanks for the info

The hot tub is not really all that great. I used it once or twice last year on the Adventure. IMHO the cabin is really nice but the concierge can make it even nicer. We had an outstanding conceirge and they can add some nice little perks. ;)

No butler service on RCI regardless of cabin. You can order dinner from the dining room for breaksfast, lunch or dinner. We ordered dinner in several nights and they came in and completly set everything up and returned after dinner and cleaned up and took all dishes away. Very nice.

linedancer,

We had breakfast in our room one morning. The breakfast menu is very similar to the menus provided for other non-suite cabins, with the exception of a few additional items. The dinner menus are basically what is being served in the dining room. We did have dinner two nights in our suite. It was a very nice treat to not have to get dressed up for dinner. There is no butler service available, however the room service attendants were superb! They even brought a white linen table cloth for our table. We ordered several things that weren't even on the menu. The staff is more than willing to accommodate your requests.

We did spend a lot of time in our suite. It is very comfortable and provides a relaxing atmosphere. All the lights were on dimmers, which made nights in the suite even more personal and intimate. The balcony was a nice touch as well. We always seemed to have the best view!

Our Concierge, Carlos, was more than eager to comply with every request we had. He came to our suite on several occasions just to check on us. He even brought us a bottle of our favorite Reisling! Basically, anything you need is there... All you have to do is ask!

You really do get treated like "Royalty" in the "Royal" suite!

Wow! Those are very comfortable accommodations. I would love to stay there sometime. We stayed in a Grand Suite on Navigator and I really enjoyed that, but if I were fortunate enough to stay in the Royal Suite, I'd probably spend most of the cruise right there.

Thanks to the OP for the photos.

That's what happened to us on our first cruise. Had reserved a Sky Suite on Celebity Mercury to Mexican Riviera, and asked about an upgrade. We were upgraded to one of the 2 Penthouse Suites, for a small upcharge. Needless to say, we saw very little outside of our suite on that cruise! And they knew what they were doing, on all the cruises on X and RCI since have booked suites.

Happy Cruising,

TnT

Great photos! RCI should hire you as I think YOUR photos are better than theirs....We will be in the Royal Suite on MOS in three days. I too wish that there was a hot tub on the balcony as we got spoiled in the Garden Villa on NCL with our own HUGE hot tub, sauna, patio, etc. You should give that room a try sometime! We also loved the Royal Suite on the Navigator in 2008 and are looking forward to yet another great trip. I am much more about the "cabin" than the itinerary for the most part as I do spend a lot of time in the room. That and the casino that is! Thanks again for the great photos - they got me in the "mood" for this coming weekend!

FlowRyder, do you recall what brand of champagne it was?

It is 4 years since we were in The Royal Suite on the Navigator, and it is a nice space, but one thing that I found less than perfect was this.

There were no curtains over the doors leading to the balcony from the living area, whilst this would not initially seem to be a problem, it became more so in the early hours of the morning. This is because at the time there were also no curtains that covered the glass frosted doors that lead into the bedroom, therefore as the sun rose in the morning (much earlier than we did) the light poured into the bedroom through the two sets of glass doors.

This might have been changed since, but it was an inconvenience at the time.

We had drapes across all windows but this was on the Adventure which is an older ship. I'm surprised that the Navigator did not have them.

I can only dream:( With your own personal butler, I might stay in there for the duration..........I'm glad this came back up, I went through the pics all over again.

Apologies for reviving an old thread but I hope that someone can answer my question about the Royal Suite on Navigator and/or Independance. Do these suites have a second bathroom and/or is the WC in a separate cubicle in the master bath, please? It is difficult to tell from the floor plan and the photograps I have tracked down.

Many thanks.

I can only reply with regards to Voyager OTS. There is only one bathroom and one WC. You can enter the WC from the lounge and the bathroom from the bedroom.

There is a door between the WC and the bathroom which you can close when you have guests.

More photos of the RS here

I really enjoyed looking at the photos of the RS on Navigator. I too would like to know if the suite has more than one bathroom. I saw what looked like a separate shower and single bowl sink. Where is it?
