You're either close to the airport or pier...not both.

 

Do you want limited service or full service??

 

The closest to the pier is the Renaissance....(on 17th)

followed by Harbor Beach, the Courtyard Ft L Beach, and Beach Place towers.

 

Near the airport are the Courtyard, Spring Hill Suites and Fairfield Inn.

 

I've stayed in the Ren, CY Beach, CY airport and SHS....they are all fine....there is a lot of stuff near the Ren, nothing near the CY airport, and some near the CY beach...i forget what's near the SHS....

 

If i had to do it over, I would select Harbor Beach over all the others......JMO...and i spend a lot of time in Marriott family hotels.....the Renaissance is fine but the food is overpriced and bad, and the rooms are a little smallish......but not bad. I have had some excellent service there, and some lousy!

 

I took a tour of Harbor beach and the staff was super nice.....gorgeous hotel.

All of the Marriotts are within a couple of miles of each other. The airport and the port are VERY close to each other.

Harbor Beach is one of my favorite pre-cruise hotels. It's great to get a ocean view room and watch the ships. It can be on the pricey side though. I also like staying at the Renaissance - very close to the cruise terminals, but the pool is small and located near the street with only a privacy wall separating them

Marriott Harbor Beach is lovely and only about 1.5 miles from the port. It is one of the nicest hotels in Fort Lauderdale.
