Has anyone ever found something in your cabin

An unopened liter of Cuervo Gold tequila. Since personal bottles of alcohol on Carnival ships is a no-no, we decided to drink it.

We thank you for making that responsible and mature decision to dispose of that tequila appropriately.

I found a single PINK CROC in our room! ;)

actually not...just wanted to tease you! However, not on a ship, but I did see a pink croc in the road near my kid's school recently, which of course made me think of cruising!

I found a piece of jewelry in the safe with a person's first name on it. I found it when I lifted up the mat when we were about to get off the ship. I tried to hand it in at the pursers desk but the cage was locked and no one would help me on our way out.

I called Carnival when I got home and was told nope they could not help me.

My ex-husband found a switch-blade tucked into the top lip of the inside of the safe. We called security to let them know, expecting them to swoop in, take it, and take us in for questioning or something...nope, they didn't do a thing, so the ex took it home with him.

The other thing we found was a bag of jewelery, it wasn't on the cruise but in the hotel we stayed at following the cruise. We called the front desk to tell them, they said no one had been in the room for weeks and it was obviously fake so we could take it with us. Well, we did, and since my father used to sell jewelery, I took it to him...it was all real. A pair of 1 ct. diamond earrings, a diamond tennis bracelet, a pearl necklace, and a pair of pearl earrings.

Not on a ship but in a hotel we once found over $200 in cash. Told the front desk if someone who was in the room prior to us were to call them about leaving cash to please give them our number. The front desk said no one had called and wanted us to turn the money into them. We repeated that we were willing to have our number given to anyone that called them about leaving behind money. Then they wanted to know the amount. Hubby said the person who left the money behind would know the amount. Then we found out that the hotel fired the housekeeper because she was suppose to check all drawers and closets! We were really really upset with that. However, no calls and we finally decided the money was ours.

I lost a brand new pair of Sperrys on a cruise 2 years ago, a pair of rainbow flip flops this year, and I could probably go on. We left some condoms for people this year =)

I do hope they were not used .

I forget what Carnival ship is what, but it was when life jackets where kept in an end table not in the closet, think it was 1999. When DH was taking out the jackets for the drill he found a bullet in the cabinet. It was huge, not your average handgun, not even a rifle. We reported it, there excuse was they had hunters on the last cruise-my question was, who and what were they hunting.

We did actually find a money clip in our safe but it was on Celebrity, it had about 150.00 Canadian bills in it.

We spent a night in a casino in Tunica, MS and my 4yo dd found a film canister of cocaine under the bed.

We checked rooms carefully for a while after that.

Another time, we had an aft balcony and a pair of ladies panties flew on to our balcony at about midnight. Glad I was there at the time; DH may have had a hard time explaining that one. :)

Not me, but a co-worker of mine just came back from on cruise on another cruise line, with her DH and 2 daughters. Her hubby was looking for something under the bed and found a battery operated "toy." She was SO glad her 2 young girls didn't find it!!!!

Gotta hope they were for the kids though...

I found leftover food in the refer on one cruise...sure would have been nice if the cabin attendant had actually cleaned up between cruises.

I found a steel watch in the safe. Actually, I didnt find it til I emptied it out prior to debark. I notified Carnival hoping the person filed a lost and found claim. For all I know, the watch could have been in there for a while, it was under that little cover. It was years ago. No one ever claimed it.

Did you leave your watch in the safe?
