Has anyone ever found something in your cabin

That wasn't technically yours? On my Freedom cruise I was putting my "stuff" (cash & chips from the casino) into our safe, I noticed something in the corner of the safe by the door, it was my favorite thing ever, a black casino chip ($100). I promptly went to the casino and "gave it back" playing 3-card poker.

Hmm...I think it's mine..you said it was black, right? Yep, I'm sure it was mine! Luckily we both live in Michigan - so you can meet me at the Motor City Casino this Saturday and give me my chip back!!:D

a dirty sock, and not like it was hidden either. Right there in plain sight on the floor of the closet. Did the steward leave it there to test us? There was no way they could have missed it if they had opened the door.

1/4 full bottle of warming massage oil in one of the bedside tables....let's just say I didn't touch it and Donny, our Jamacian steward, and I had a good laugh about it when I said he can I borrow some gloves!

We had 6 lifejackets taking up our almost our whole cabin (meant to say whole closet) last cruise. It took awhile to convince the room steward to remove the extra ones (he was adamant that they weren't allowed to take them from a cabin). But our cabin only slept four people.

Stored in one of the end tables, two XXXL bathing suits. I'm not kidding. They were HUUUUUGE!

Aboard the Liberty in October 2009 - my brother and his friend were sharing a balcony room and found a journal in the drawer under the couch.

it was from this young mans grandmother when he was born, and had several life stories she wrote and then transitioning to when he could write of his writings.

I dont remember if they gave it to the room steward or brought it home and tracked down the person.

We found a letter from a little kid to her uncle talking about how much fun her cruise was. This wasn't the most interesting thing a person could find - it was just kind of sad knowing this kid took the time to write out this letter, and then left it behind.

Did you send it to the uncle? Or was it missing an address?

No, we couldn't mail it because there was no address - it wasn't in an envelope or anything. We left it in the room when we left, too - for all I know it might still be there! :p

I haven't found anything but we may have left something interesting behind if the steward didn't clean out the fridge.

We had brought some chocolate body paint along...we were on vacation!

When I asked my husband if he threw it out before we left his face turned bright red! Oops!

a bottle of johnny walker black.

Was it opened?

3. HAL funship dollars (HAL stopped using them a long time before I found them)

Did you keep it? That's the sort of thing that does well on eBay, sort of like Disney's E-tickets.

OK, don't forget - I already have your picture!

Just kidding - we'll actually be at our son's graduation this weekend - that's what our next cruise is celebrating! I'll repost if we find anything interesting in our cabin... :)
