Married Man's Trail was the "back way" into Dolly's House....for the married men

Weather was great for a day spent walking around ! Back to the ship with all our souvenirs. Kind of sad to know that this was the last stop...but still had our last day at sea.

 

 

Since it was Mother's Day...we all received pink carnations at dinner that night....nice touch, Carnival !

 

Set our clocks up an hour that night since we would be crossing back into Canada.

 

Up early the next morning....to rougher seas....if you want to call it that...still couldn't feel much movement.

 

 

Watched the ice carving...kind of hard to tell from this angle but he did an Indian Head.

It's always hard that last night, packing everything up, knowing that another great vacation is about over....so I consoled myself losing the rest of my winnings that night at the casino :eek:

 

Up early in the morning and we were already docked in Seattle..

 

 

We did the self-assist since we had noon flights out...it was a breeze ! We were off the ship by 8am. Had Shuttle Express already arranged for transportation to the airport....great service for the price.

 

My last view of my home for that last week....Goodbye Spirit....I'll see you again someday !

I always look forward to this time of year when the cruise reviews for Alaska are posted. I start looking the minute I know the first cruise should be over. I loved our Alaska cruise several years ago. Looking at the pictures from Sagway, I think we took the same tours. When we stopped to take some pictures, we were luck enough to get a picture of the train on the way to through the pass. Did ya'll stop in Victoria before you made it back to Seattle? I am going to bookmark the link to your pictures and take my time looking at them. We came back with over 1000 pictures. Aren't digital cameras nice, no worry about running out of film and no wasting money printing pictures that didn't come out good. I really can't wait to look at the rest of the pictures. You did a wonderful job.

We just got off the first 7 day out of Seattle. Saw over 250 humpback whales at one time! Wonderful. Spirit was nice as when we were on it 2 years ago. Dining room great, the buffet has declined with no variety and the same food as in the dining room.
