Rare MMDown Under Posted July 16, 2010 #780 Share Posted July 16, 2010 Just realised the connection! Whilst I'm waiting for the Dawn to enter Dublin Harbour, I'm typing up "An Irish Blessing", as part of my International Report for the monthly Country Women's Association (QCWA) Meeting. Ireland is our country of study for this year. (I'm going to use pure Irish Linen Teatowels on "An Irish Blessing", "Ireland's Treasures" and "Map of Ireland", which I bought on my first visit to Ireland and have used ever since.) Its quite usual for a ship to have to wait for the pilot.

Gaznjo Posted July 16, 2010 Author #800 Share Posted July 16, 2010 We have just been informed by the captain of the ship that due to the strong winds, it is unsafe to take the Dawn Princess to the dock in Dublin. The ship has turned around close to Dublin and has set a new course for Boston USA. More detail when we find out what is happening.
