They have either arrived too early,

The Pilots busy and they have to wait

or

Captain is giving them a scenic cruise of Dublin Bay:confused:

Or the weather is not right for them to go in or they are going to Anchor in the next bay along

Just realised the connection!

Whilst I'm waiting for the Dawn to enter Dublin Harbour, I'm typing up "An Irish Blessing", as part of my International Report for the monthly Country Women's Association (QCWA) Meeting. Ireland is our country of study for this year.

(I'm going to use pure Irish Linen Teatowels on "An Irish Blessing", "Ireland's Treasures" and "Map of Ireland", which I bought on my first visit to Ireland and have used ever since.)

it is nearly like she is following her own co ordinates back out...

...perhaps someone left their suitcase in Southampton ,

and they are going back for it?:D:D

from the AIS they appear to be a long way out and they cranked up the speed to 20 knots.

Would they do that if they where waiting to enter a port???

Dont think so!!!!!

It looks like they might not be going to Dublin, Ireland now, their might be a few unhappy people on board!!, it will be interesting to see what the blogers say.

They now have a week at sea!

20 knots in the opposite direction.... she is leaving i reakon!!

I hope not!

What a disappointment to the passengers expecting a long day visit. Dublin of all places and I've just finished all their Irish Treasures in the National Museum and Trinity College!

Can't wait to read the latest blogs!

We have just been informed by the captain of the ship that due to the strong winds, it is unsafe to take the Dawn Princess to the dock in Dublin. The ship has turned around close to Dublin and has set a new course for Boston USA. More detail when we find out what is happening.
