Refrigerator size in the cabin?

I wanted to see if anyone has taken 2 liter bottle of pops on the cruise with you? Do you know if they will fit in the refrigerator in your room or not? If so how many would fit in there? Thanks ahead of time!

They will if you remove the shelf and ice bucket - looking at our fridge it would hold approx 6-8 bottles.

I get a 1.75 Lt bottle of Grey Goose in it...;)

We had 2- 2 liter bottles of soda in it & there wasn't much room left except on the door shelf. I suppose it would hold 3 2 liter bottles or a few cans of beer in addition.

Agree. And because the door shelf intrudes into the interior, it may look like it can hold more until you try to close the door.

The refrigerator is the same size as the smallest dorm frig you can find. It holds a few cans of soda, the ice bucket and a box of wine on it's side if you take out the ice bucket and door shelf.

Especially when my wife keeps her chocolate covered strawberries balanced on top of the ice bucket.

You're better off with the ice bucket in the fridge and the bottles out of it.

They won't be that cold in the fridge, and your ice would have to be replenished

frequently if it's out of it. The fridge keeps the ice in good shape.

I'd consider cans if I were you... gives you more flexibility if you have something else you decide to put in there.

We were thinking that maybe 2 liters would be better than cans trying to get to the ship and all that.

We used cans and smaller bottles, that way we could stack them artfully. Think Tetris...:)
