Best Beach

Recommended Posts

Which island has the best beach? St. Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, St. Marten, or St. Croix?

Love white soft sand, love beach bars too!

Id have to say Barbados, then St Maarten are the best out of the bunch you mentioned.

Sandy Lane Resort Barbados is awesome spent my 40th b-day there

Ok, #1 I see you're from NY. #2 You like white sand beaches. #3 you want good, FUN beach bars.

Then there is only one place.

Well, being a total beach person, I have to say I love the beaches in all the islands, but Barbados does have gorgeous powdery white sand. have been to The Boatyard a number of times. going to try Acura next year.

Antigua is my favorite island and we love going to Dickenson Bay

St Maarten - without a doubt - ORIENT. Gorgeous, great people watching, wonderful sandy beach and pretty water

St Lucia - we like Reduit Beach over at Rodney Bay

St Croix, been a while, but when we go back next year, we will head to Buccaneer's resort, nice place and snorkeling also.

Definitely Orient Beach in St Maarten...also love Friar's Bay there....it is a quiet beach and lovely. Loved The Boatyard in Barbados.

We found the local residents at Dickenson Beach and Reduit Beach very intimidating...wouldn't go back probably. Never have felt that way at the other beaches.

The beach in the pictures is Orient Beach - St Maarten.

We really liked Orient Beach for the wonderful sand and colour of the sea, but it's very commercialised and crowded. We loved Maho beach, just for the novelty of watching the planes come in.

We HATED the Boatyard, Barbados - tacky and not a reflection of some of the fabulous beaches on offer in Barbados (some mentioned above)

St Lucia has volcanic sand in the main, although Reduit beach is nice enough and the beach at Jalousie (imported sand) has a stunning backdrop with the Pitons behind.

Antigua is famous for it's beaches. We've only visted Dickenson Bay but thought it was fabulous - lovely white sand and gorgeous turquoise sea.

Yeah, The Boatyard looks too touristy for my taste

Hey B-52

Nice photos of Orient beach especially the flying of our Colors on foreign soil

Our favourite beaches are: Maho Beach and Orient Beach on St. Maartin, Megans Bay on St. Thomas, the beach by the Radisson Hotel on Aruba, and any beach on Grand Cayman.

Hands down, the BEST beach I have been to in the Caribbean is Trunk bay in St. John's. If you ever stop at St. Thomas, take the ferry over to St. John and get in a cab to Trunk Bay. In my signature, I have a link to pics from my Carnival Liberty cruise. There are pics there of Trunk Bay. it is the SOFTEST sand I have ever touched !!! Warm, clear water. Great for snorkeling, with an underwater trail, and NOT CROWDED !!!!!
