Excellent customer service

Recommended Posts

I emailed Adam Goldsteins office on Friday morning with a concern I had.

Just wanted to report that I got a phone call this afternoon and my issue was resolved beyond what I had even asked for.

With all the bashing of RCCL on these boards sometimes I thought it right to report some good service:)

Oh c'mon, we need to know more than that about your issue. Where's the fun in that? :D:):D I'm glad they were able/willing to help. :)

Some issues with Nextcruise certificates purchased before the June 1st benefits change.

Did your issue perhaps have anything to do with them pulling Mariner out of LA???????:(

I would love to be able to help keep Mariner in LA.....with my trip this October it will make 4 trips on her for me since last summer.

I just became a diamond member of Royal Caribbean, and I am vey, very happy with the service that I have received so far. I really think that some things do go wrong for people on cruise ships, but so far I have been treated very well.

My September trip will be my fourth one as well.

I wish I could go in January for the last one. We'll see.

I am NOT a happy camper!!:(

I just got off the Mariner and had a lenghty conversation with one of the bartenders about why the Mariner is pulling out of L.A. Apparently none of the departments such as beverage service & the casino are meeting their targets. They aren't selling many drinks and the gambling revenue is way off. The tips are so low for the service staff a lot of them are requesting transfers off the ship. The casino was only half full as best at night. RCCL seems to think the sip will do better in Europe and then Galveston.

Thank You for posting something positive. Most of the posting regarding customer service is negative. It paints RCI in a bad light. People need to know that RCI does do some things that are positive.:D

It's too bad it has come to this. Lord knows I have contributed well to the bars and casino!

This European won't be using the Casino, so maybe it'll come back to LA after all ;-)

Very Interesting! Mariner was $800 dollars more than Splendor for my family of four. (Were going 8/15/10) We still picked Mariner because we wanted to finally try RCCL and heard it was better for families- sounds like they are a victim of their own marketing? Didn't know they were pulling out- glad I booked!

I want to add I talked to Jim at C&A today and he gave me fantastic service. I won't be thinking of cruising with any other line soon.

Yay, to RCL!!!!!!!!

Well, I can understand the casinos, as Las Vegas & CA have close casinos, but the West Coast has just as many drunks as TX!

Maybe a cost cutting measure for Californians??? In this climate, we are cutting back, just want to get on the ship!
